Christmas Art Journal Day Two

Thanks everyone for the great comments yesterday. I wanted to answer some of the questions related to the album/project.

1. that awesome tree stamp comes from a company called Memory Box
2. the sticker under the tree stamp is from 7gypsies
3. the photo on the cover was printed here at home and I layered two different transparencies from K&Company on right on top (used Magic Scraps tape for my adhesive)
4. the film reel came from Urban Arts & Crafts in Kansas City - they carry a line there called Junkyard Art that is so very cool
5. And yep, using another Heidi Swapp 9x9 album

And here is my entry for day two:

Christmasartjournal_day2

So far I seem to be working with the theme of creating something and sticking it on a white cardstock background. Created a snowflake. Painted it white. Stamped the circles. Put a rub on from Basic Grey in the middle. Journaled around the outside - talked about my dream of a white Christmas. Embossed the whole thing with Versamark and clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. I had forgotten how much I love embossing.

Loving this. Now heading to the grocery store.

Great, inspiring work. I consider myself so blessed that you are willing to share like this with all of us scrappers. Thank you.
Quick question- did you get this heidi swapp album at scraptacular as well or do you have a great online source for these that you would be able to share? Thanks in advance.

Wow, you've got a real circle vibe going on these days, eh? I've been obsessing about your other Christmas journal (the one with the circle punches) - love it, love it. I'm sad to say I looked at my first page of my Christmas journal this morning and decided I must take Shimelle's advice and just RIP IT OUT. Will try, try again. In the meantime, I'm loving yours.

I love the work that you do! I am inspired! Thank you for sharing. I do have two questions -
Do you write everything in pencil first then go over it with a pen? And what is your favorite pen?

Ahck! Thanks so much for the Memory Box link! I've been searching for it for days. I love Dave--such a cool guy, and such stylin' art work. I'm using the dove/peace stamp for Christmas cards and was looking for some examples. Thanks again--made my day.
