Thanks. Ramblings. Cafe Press.
I put this layout together a couple weeks ago as an example of a way to play with Technique Tuesday's super awesome Functuation stamp set. They generously donated a set to each person in my Backstage Party at the Portland convention. Thanks again guys.
And yep, as you can see, I am all about the circles right now...and the Creative Memories Circle Cutter. I picked one up when I was in Virginia and I am seriously in love with it - I got to put away the bowls I was tracing to make circle shapes. Watch for more layouts with circle cut photos in the magazine in the coming months.
Simon and I had a great time at lunch with friends yesterday. We met up for pizza...felt so good to just relax while the kids ran and went crazy in the play area. I miss that part of not working so much...the daytime get togethers with other moms and kids. That connection. Loved it - thanks guys - excited to do it again.
And, I opened up a little shop at Cafe Press with some feel-good, Life Artist products. Check out the AE Manifesto line of stuff: includes a graphic with all those things I find myself saying in classes over and over. Cool little reminders to keep it all in perspective. My plan is to add new things in there periodically - as the inspiraiton strikes. Sign up for the newsletter and I will let you know when new things are added.
Back to work today...lots of things on my list.
hey Ali, it was so much fun meeting you in Virginia and taking the pictures. I totally remember you buying the CM circle cutter. You were excited then!! The layout looks great! I love checking in on your blog to see your awesome layouts and REAL attitude on living and enjoying life! Keep it going!

Do you ever make an ugly layout? This is absolutely beautiful! Love the circles and wouldn't you know it, I gave away my Creative Memories circle cutters last year, knowing I'd never like that look again... Geesh! I signed up for the Cafe Press newsletter. Very cool stuff. Great idea!

Okay, could you just stop being so dang cool? Everytime I pull up your blog and see a new beautiful "something something" I just want to rip my hair out! Everything you create is just gorgeous...I am always inspired to create after I see what you've been up to. But seriously, my self-esteem can't take anymore...could you just tone it down a little bit...not be quite so incredible?! :) Ali rocks.

Ali-
I love your products on that site. Everything is cool - especially the Manifesto line. My sister-in-law is an artist and this gives me some cool gift ideas for birthday/christmas/just because. I definitely will be getting some stuff for me too.
As always - thanks for all the inspiration you send our way.

Hi Ali!
I'm new to scrapbooking ... and haven't even started a single real page yet! So I'm just wondering where do I start? What adhesives are best to use? I currently have a 12x12 scrapbook album, some 12x12 stock paper, and a bunch of photos. That's it! What else do I need to start? Would love some advice!
Thanks!

Ali,
I love the words you use to describe the scrapbooker-"Life Artist". What a great way of putting it. Thanks for the inspiration.
