AEzine Challenge: Personal Creative Manifesto

I am so excited to see where you guys went with this one...

From last week's AEzine:

the challenge this week is to come up with you very own personal creative manifesto. Maybe it is one word. Maybe it will be paragraphs. Whatever it is or becomes, take some time this week to begin generating one for just for you. Create a layout, begin a minibook, or maybe just start writing out your thoughts...

I kind of did this last May, it was the idea for a circle journal. I choose 5 words,
    Play
    Embrace
    Smile
    Live
    Breathe

Mine is posted at the top of my blog at www.artistreborne.typepad.com (just under my photo). I had done this a few months ago at the prompting of another blogger...I love having it at the top of my blog (and in my art journal) where I can reflect on it often.

I started working on my blog again. My small creative manifesto, handicapped by limited knowledge of html and CSS...
But I managed to get it back up and running, a promise to myself to write daily again...

I loved this one. I put mine on a clipboard so I can look at it every day and read it.

My manifesto is just a blog entry for now. I am hoping to come up with a layout some time, but couldn't decide on how to do this with the words I have chosen.

    My creative manifesto is
Live Without Barriers, Create Without Barriers
I altered a white 12x12 MF clipboard and put it on there. It is hanging in my studio. Will have to link it later after I scan it

Hi Ali - yes, I've been thinking about this and saw your newsletter around the time I'm having a bit of a bottleneck with my pages! Well-timed! Have been giving tihs some thought as I think by working out this I can free up some headspace and just go CREATE :) Thanks for the framework !

Great Challenge! I made a minibook that I could keep on my shelf in my studio -- to keep my priorities right in front of me...I posted it here on my blog...

It was wonderful meeting you this weekend. I wish we had some more time to talk maybe in the future...
Here's a start to my personal manifesto:
•Life is in the details – the small moments are what add up to the richness of our lives (it's no surprise that this is what I named my blog)
•Be conscious of the sacred in the everyday
    •Practice gratitude daily
•Your thoughts, feelings, and actions can move you in any direction you want to go
•Taking a deep breath is a great tool for calming down (thanks to my Mom for this; she as notorious to counting to 10 before telling me what to do when I misbehaved!! LOL!)
•Surround yourself with people that inspire you to be a better person
•Do something that makes you happy each day
•Set goals and intentions for how you want to live. Then continually evaulate and re-evaluate. Then refine your goals as necessary.
I haven't posted this on my blog yet but I will... and I think this subject would be the perfect mini-album!!
