I decided that I really liked creating on that envelope yesterday. As I walked back to the house from the mailbox today (and looked through and saw a bunch more envelopes this same size), I figured why not use them as the foundations for each day of this daily something project. If I have a longer story I can simply type it and place it inside the envelope.
Inspired by an Etsy shop called Remake, I turned the envelope inside out, glued the edges back together, slipped in the photo and stitched.
I used the Bind it All to punch the holes. You could also use one of those two hole punch machines from an office supply store.
The circle stamp will be available in an upcoming CK Kit of the Month. The other pieces were cut out of pieces of mail from today.
For those of you asking about installing the brush file from yesterday, check out this link from Jessica Sprague that walks you through the process. Make sure to unzip the file before attempting to load it into Photoshop (the brush file has an extension .abr).
Thanks for all the feedback on the calendars – much appreciated.
