Today was
my birthday.
I got to do one of my favorite things tonight - go to a movie with Chris. In fact, we went twice - back to back (the first time ever). Can I tell you how fun it is to walk out at the end of a movie, head back to the front counter, buy a second ticket to another feature, and walk right back in all over again.
We started off with Dan In Real Life with Steve Carrell. Loved it. Had to come home and download Let My Love Open The Door and listen to it over and over again.
Round two was American Gangster with Denzel Washington & Russell Crowe. Another really good movie.
It was a really good birthday.

Belated happy birthday from another AE! :) So funny-- we went to two movies back-to-back for the first time ever for my husband's birthday in September. (Bourne Ultimatum and Harry Potter) Totally felt like we were getting away with something.
P.S. Simon & Halloween = awesome. We had a great time with our 5 & 6 year old, too-- they loved the costumes and the giving
out/answering door more than the getting, too! The best.

Fun coincidence: after writing my first comment here, I went to the sneak preview in our movie theater last night. Guess what it was? American Gangster! You should have seen me bounce in my seat when the title came on screen :)
