December Daily Album : Day 14 + 15 + 16

It is definitely starting to fill up now (which means I think I need to get some bigger rings to hold it all together).

Day 14:

(Patterned papers: Making Memories; Rub On & Transparency: Hambly)

(Merry Felt: Fancy Pants; Bakers Twine: Shim + Son's; Word Stickers: Making Memories)

And moving on to the back of Day 14 and the beginning of Day 15:

(Patterned Paper: Martha Stewart; Scallop Punch: Marvy; Santa Paper + Accent: K&Company)

And moving on to the back of Day 15 and the beginning of Day 16:

(Patterned Paper: Basic Grey; Small Felt Flowers: American Crafts; Epoxy Circle Sticker: Love, Elsie)

To make the circle I punched through the printed out photo/journaling block + punched through some patterned paper for the back. I taped a piece of transparency on the back of the photo paper and placed the two circle accents back to back. Makes a nice little window through to the other side.

And the back of Day 16:

(Green Patterned Paper: Making Memories; Epoxy Circle: Anna Griffin)

While looking for that red polka-dot patterned paper on Martha's site tonight I came across these cool ornaments: red + white candy. These are really pretty too.

Also, if you are looking for a good sale this week check out Designer Digital's "Double D's Days of Christmas." They are also offering a freebie each day of the week (from the 14th through the 26th - it does look like you need to register to access the freebie area of the site).

Hope you have an excellent, festive, spirit-filled week.

Ali - thank you so much for sharing your art and your process with us - truly inspirational! I'm taking Shimelle's christmas journal class and it has made my holiday to spend that creative time ... every day. I also really enjoy the quotes that you post in your side-bar and wondered where you find them? are you just a much better google-r than I or do you have a secret source?! this one "There are a thousand blessings in every moment, if you look. Each breath and heartbeat, every color, texture, taste, smell. A lifetime of blessings, beauty, love." is absolutely beautiful. Again, many many thanks. - Mary

Ali I have a question for you - what are the fonts you have used on your blog header (capture, create) and on the Daily Album Day 9? Thanks!!

Really enjoying this daily album of yours. I made a really sweet little 3x5 kind of more of an index card deal on a ring. Meant to do some each day or even every few days. Have only managed a couple of days.
