Had one of those really simple days. It is super stormy (rain + wind) which lends itself well to getting cozy on the couch, reading the paper, watching movies, eating popcorn, and doing a bit of baking in between (coffee cake muffin recipe from Cottage Living magazine). And a big, long nap. Can’t forget the nap.
I can’t think of anything better on a rainy day than coffee cake muffins. Yum!

You’ve just described my perfect day. I’m so glad humanity no longer has to hide from the rain in caves that smell like damp buffalo. Hooray for mortgages and ovens! I bet it’s hard to bake muffins over a smoky prehistoric fire.
