December Daily : Day Eight & Nine

[ Chris risked life + limb for this photo. What a guy. ]

We took Simon sledding for the first time today to Willamette Pass.

We don’t really get snow much at all where we live – maybe a dusting or the occasional accumulation. But, we can drive a little over an hour and find as much as we want throughout the winter. The actual ski area is still closed because there is not enough snow yet, but for the few groups of people that made the drive up today (and were willing to trek their sleds up the hills), it was totally worth it.

Seriously good times. Up and down and up and down. Definitely an activity we will do again in the coming months.

And here’s a look at Day Eight and Day Nine in my December Daily Album:

    Hi Ali,
I was wondering, what type of pen do you use when you write directly onto your photos?
    Thanks,
    Jenny

Too cool! We have a giant hill in front of our high school that EVERYONE takes their kids to. Always so much fun!Tires them out and they sleep like babies all night!!LOL!

Missing the snow after looking at this awsome photo. Since I’ve moved back home, I’ve been curious if they still sled where I used to as a kid. It would be totally fun to take my kids, but the snow has been lacking…we didn’t even need to wear coats today and people were driving around with their windows open. Where’s winter? Nice to live through your photos. Love the book.
