December Daily : Day Seven

And a couple notes:

1. There were a few questions the other day about whether I liked working in this format/using this process. I put the "bones" of this album together months ago and am now simply filling it in with our daily stories and adventures. I have to say that I am really liking this. It is not complicated. It takes so much less time each day than if I was putting each page together each day. I love having the basic foundation already set-up. Highly recommend trying this sometime (could still do the 12-days of Christmas).

2. The dipped pretzels in the photo from yesterday were sent to us from our friend Tim. You could ask him about them here. Beware: they are really, really good. Sweet + salty is amazing.

3. Loved the movie we saw last night. Nice feel-good family movie. One of my favorite scenes was the "conversation" between Eric (the main boy) and Jason Bateman's character. To create a page for my Daily album I went to the website, downloaded one of the screensavers, resized it in Photoshop and printed.

4. When the movie was over it was the perfect opportunity to go see Santa (we were already at the mall). No line (about 6:30pm on Friday night). Happy Santa. Happy Simon. He was super excited, we got all choked up...and so it goes. Such a nice night for the Edwards'.

I just love this album, I check in everyday just to see the new and different way you use some really cool everyday items along with the newest scrap trends.
Could you please tell me what white marker or pen you are using on your photos? I know you have posted it before, but I have lost my notes. I have yet to find one that works this well.
    Cheers,

Love the album! Still working on my 10 things to be greatful and thankful for each day. It is so cathartic that I am really enjoying my life more as a result, as crazy as that sounds! Once again, thanks for the inspiration...
For the person asking about white pens on photos... I LOVE my Uniball Signo.

I must admit, I was drawn to your blog by your acrylic album, I had not really visited your site before. I am enjoying sharing all the special moments your family share with such a special child. He is very lucky God picked such special parents to help him along lifes journey, he is truly blessed.

I agree with Dawn: your creations are so uplifting and inspiring! And Simon is such a cutie, too. Love the pictures you capture of him.
I am seriously in love with the transparency ideas. I can't believe I never thought of that myself but I love how it looks every day. Thanks for the ideas, and Happy Holidays!

We saw this movie with one of the twin's Tiger Cub scout troop and I cried through most of it! I LOVED it and the kids did too! What a wonderful movie for the children (and the adults who needed a wonderful movie to make them rethink the magic!)
Love your album! Definitely gonna get something like that put together!
