Here's a look at April's LB KOTM: a cool collection of goodies called Details Enclosed. I took just one small portion + created this mini-book and layout (there are over 140 total pieces in 12 colors). Designed by the Kit Of The Month Team there are lots of cool pieces to make a variety of different projects. The product emphasis is on enclosures, date & label stickers, etc. Check out the site for more details and photos of the April Kit.

Precious! I just love your books. I bet Simon loves these books. Thanks for sharing!!! Jess
So fabulous! I am always amazed at how you are able to take ready made pieces and truly make them your own! Another reason why you’re still my favorite;)
Great project, Ali!! Love the mini album with all the little envelopes and enclosures. Gonna head over to the CK page to get mine! As always, thanks for the great inspiration!
SOOOO cool! What a great little book for Simon, especially as he gets older. Sweet creativity! Erin
You make it look so simple! I bought this kit because of the cute things that you did with it. On it’s own I wasn’t that impressed with it, but when I saw what you and some of the other design girls had done I just had to have it!

Ordered the kit last month and wasn’t sure how I was going to use most of it – but this is amazing and will give me inspiration to use it!!!
Can’t wait – thanks

I agree with the ladies above. I saw all the bits and pieces in this month’s kit and felt a little overwhelmed. I love how you simplified the process. You are the QUEEN of mini-books!
I can’t wait to tinker at home!

I love this kit! And I love what you did with the minibook, just perfect! Any chance you’ll be designing another kit of the month soon? It’s been quite a long time with no Ali kit!!
Awesome! Ordered a kit myself!
your insight into how creatively you can use product to make a project never ceases to amaze me…this book is more than adorable…i would never have thought anywhere near what you did here…surely there is something you do to make yourself think WAY outside the box…it amazes me, and although sometimes discouraged by this, it usually spurs me on to try and reach outside myself in my own little projects. thanks so much for the time and energy to make this book and then show it to all of us.
Thank you for showing the KIT OF THE MONTH! There are many times I see cute ideas but have no idea how to purchase them. Thank you – thank you-
super cool book.
i especially love those stamps – what’s the name of them, if you don’t mind me asking?
I wasn’t tempted to buy this kit until I saw what you did with it. LOVE your style!
Wow Ali, this is such a precious book! I love the stamping. Great photos in the book as well.
This is adorable! I’m waiting on my kit to get here. I had a plan for a mini album as well, maybe incorporating pieces into a clear album as well. Thanks for sharing!
wow, i love your minis! i’m about to start my very first, but i’m hesitating *lol*. just afraid i’ll get bored or lost before i finish:
looking at the kit alone, I would not have thought to purchase it. Once again, the way in which you put the elements together gives it fresh appeal. really like this.
Ali!! This is amazing. You really should be getting a cut of their sales from this, because you are selling these kits!!!
Thanks for all the eye candy!
Debbi
I am so glad I got this kit. This is such a wonderful idea, Ali!
Thanks you so much for sharing it with us
Incredible!
I love mini books and they are so easy to make I think, but you make them look easier.
Great inspiration.
Love the ‘mushy stuff inside’ bit. It’s perfect!
ali, ali, ali….

love the mini book..the different sized pages..the words..good stuff–all of it
Thanks again for the cool ideas! I love so many of your ideas & I’m so hoping to try them for my own kids.
I say ” I love you to the moon and back ” to my daughter Mackenzie ~
Love the mini book, your books are always so great and iinsperational!!! I can’t belive I’m early enough to order a kit finally!!! I always seem to miss out! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
Angie from Austraila!
I love it, Ali! Another great mini album.

Got a question for you Ali! How do you resize your photos in Photoshop without making them come out warped looking? Whenever I try to resize my photos to an odd shape (2×2 or 5×5 etc…) they come out weird looking. Even when I make a gathering they do the same thing. HELP please! Tell me what I’m doing wrong!
Thanks in advance!
beautiful!
You’ve been tagged.
first of all… so glad i got that kotm….. and second…. freaking cute mini… love it and all the little bits to it…. you’re a rockstar…
Very cool!
Sue
What a beautiful album, I love the simplicity of it. Ever since I was so fortunate to join your workshop in Portland (Scrapbook attack) and meet you in person way back in 2005, you have inspired me in so many ways. I love your “less is more” style, and this is the principle I’m constantly thinking of whenever I design a LO or a minibook. Thank you for beeing you and letting us in on your journey(s). Is there any chance of you visiting The Netherlands (Amsterdam) any time soon????
Oh wow Ali, I had no idea that this kit even existed, but thanks so much for sharing! I’ve been thinking of doing a “bits of life” mini with lots of envelopes holding different things from my daily life and little cards with journaling, this is aboslutely perfect for that! Your mini rocks, great work as always
Geneviève

Ali, thank you for sharing this idea with us.
XO Simone
I was visiting Andrea Scher last week and she showed me your beautiful book – so happy to have (finally) found your wonderful, inspiring work!
I love your blog and all the projects you share with us.
“Mushy stuff inside…” Heh-heh, I love that! Great mini, Ali!
Jeez… first you got me hooked on Cocoa Daisy and now this…
Of course now I had to order it too (although shipping abroad is ridiculously high)
i would have NEVER known that this creation of yours could have come from this particular kit. Once again you have out did yourself.
Hope you have time for a quick question…what ink did you use for your stamps? thank you soooo very much for sharing your AMAZING creations…always sooo inspiring.
I LOVE THIS ONE!!!! beautiful creations as always Ali!!
have a great day!
I ordered last week! I just love this kit :0)
Thanks for the inspiration!
Ali you are my inspiration, what a beautiful album!! Dana
This baby is on its way to my house!! My daughter and I are going to share because it’s so loaded with good stuff. Thank you for showing me a wonderful way to use the elements. Now I’m anxious to get it before my inspiration dissipates!
beautiful, just beautiful!
I like using arrows on my pages. Would like to see more ways you have used them. Love ‘em in this project.
Keep it coming girl.

Wow, this is one of the coolest kits I have seen in a long time. I may have to open the old wallet.
love it!
Another question….which printer do you use at home to print out your photos and which program do you print them from (Photoshop or iPhoto)? They always look great…can’t tell the difference between store printed and home printed!
Thanks!
I ordered this kit as soon as it was available…can’t wait to get it..especially looking at what you’ve done with it! Beautiful!
