Weekend Creative : Hello Life Mini + A Hero Arts Giveaway

Img_9797

A fun little project created for Simon to teach/work on a couple concepts (this could be easily adapted for lots of different themes). We have been talking a lot about "experiences" lately how cool it is to try new things.

Things to try/experiment with this weekend: using your photo editing program to add a word onto a photo and print, stamping + writing on acetate/transparency, making something just for the fun of it.

And the giveaway: to celebrate Hero Arts new blog launch I have three groups of very cool Hero Arts stamps to give away. Leave your name in the comment section and I will draw names when I get back to town on Sunday night.

This little book is held together with eyelets. The Crop-A-Dile is definitely my favorite tool for punching holes and setting eyelets. It works especially well when dealing with chipboard or stacks of paper such as this project.

PROJECT SUPPLIES:
Hero Arts Adventure Journal Stamp
Staz On Ink (for stamping on transparencies or any slick material)
American Crafts Slick Writer (fine or medium point)
Hero Arts Acetate Folded Cards (PS454)
American Crafts MOMA Letter Stickers
3 photos
Sheet of patterned paper to be cut to go behind the acetate
Crop-A-Dile + eyelets
Stapler

What a really cool idea! Could have used this a few months back with our son…instead have a piece of tag board with pictures on it in the kitchen. It works, but… :)
