Studio Calico Kit Winners
Thanks to everyone who left a comment over the last few days. Reading through all those comments was really cool - so many great thoughts and emotions about memory keeping.
And here are the two winner's of the Studio Calico Kits:
I
feel it important to document memories while I can still recall things
- my grandmother had alzheimers - no one thought to ask her things
until it was too late. How many things we missed. So I make art
journals, do photography, there are so many outlets for documenting my
life and those around me. And being 65 I am realizing I won't always
remember the things I thought I would!

my
favorite thing right now is documenting all the little family stories.
I sent everybody a list with questions about growing up and their take
on life and I'm planning a beautiful album with all the answers.Posted by: Ana F. | Tuesday, 29 July 2008 at 08:12 AM

congratulations Ladies, and I love Ana's idea, asking each member to document family life gives a new dimension, as we don't remember the same things, don't give the same importance to an event or story.

Congratulations and I also think Ana's idea was brilliant. I would be very interested to know what questions she asked :)

I would also love to view the list of questions. As adults our take on life as we grew up is so different, I think I lived in a frosted bubble, but really I chose to live happily. If I as weeding the garden, I knew it wouldn't last long so I just did it and got it done and life went on . I guess.
Have a blessed day, Kim D
