Three Things : Butterflies

Butterflies are one of my favorite natural symbols.

Freedom. Summer. Colorful. Light. Metamorphosis. Delight. Butterflies are a great way to bring a bit of those themes into creative projects and layouts.

Maya Road Butterfly Stamp Set : Love this one for all the options. Great for scrapbook pages or cards. They also have a great set of butterfly rub ons.

Scenic Route Chipboard Butterflies : Paint them. Stamp on them. Emboss them. Cover with patterned paper. So many options.

KI Memories Bloom Butterfly Clips : These would be really cute on top of a photograph of peeking off the top of a layout (love seeing a few little things peeking out of my albums). They don’t always have to be functional.

For more butterfly products check out this search I did on Two Peas : butterfly products.

And in case you missed it: weekend creative butterfly punch collage project.

    Hey Ali,
I did your butterfly challange a few months ago…I made pictures for my sisters and put them in 8×8 frames. They turned out super cute and my sisters loved them because I made them. I’m not the craftiest person in the world but that project I could do. Thanks for the cool idea!

I don’t like bees, or owls, birda are ok, but I really like butterflies. They are slowly popping into the scrapbooking world. Thanks for sharing some, I had only seen the chipboard ones you have pictured.

Love butterflies and Star Wars and Harry Potter at our house too! Here’s another book series for you (maybe just you now… you & Simon when he’s older): Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians series (I’ve only read the 1st one, The Lightening Thief, but really enjoyed it!) Happy Summer!

hi — just wanted to comment that I love the hybrid/digital series. I haven’t been able to read any blogs for a few weeks so I’ve been playing catch up…..I love how you continually grow and also share that knowledge with us :) also, love those gyms for kids — always fun for them.
