Knitting, knitting and more knitting. I’m a bit obsessed really. I just learned how to knit and it’s like I was when I first started scrapbooking, I just can’t get enough! Currently I’m working on hats for a friend of mine that just had twin girls. :)

I have been designed a program for a conference–cover and all. And I’m a social worker not a graphic designer. So it’s been pretty interesting to say the least.

Normally I scrapbook, but lately my creativity has poured into planning and preparing our vegetable garden. It’s still too cold to plant much, but today, the kids and I will plant lettuce, spinach, and swiss chard. I can’t wait to see how they grow…and I’m sure our bunnies will be eagerly waiting too.

Working at getting my four-year-old over walking pneumonia with lots of injections and pokes — it’s been a stressful week but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. After our appointments are done, I’m going to be working on getting my house cleaned!

I have been working on keeping this awesome balance of life, mother, student, employee, and wife. But it’s all worth it when I see my daughter ride her two wheeler for the first time (by herself) or when you snuggle up with a good book.

i’ve actually felt the mojo return for myself. Maybe it’s winter slowly disappearing, maybe it’s letting myself be creative-I’m not sure why it’s come back but it’s quiet welcome. come on in and have a seat, mojo. Meet Ali and baby and Simon while you’re here. I’ve made a mini from a package of Blue Moon/Full Moon Ale, I’ve made 12×12 pages with ONE picture. it’s very freeing!

I have way too many projects going at the same time, yikes! Always have a layout going on my desk, in the process of moving my scrapbook corner out of my master closet into another walk-in closet in the house, and moving my son’s room to another room in the house so I can have his walk-in closet.

I’ve been working on structuring the chaos that comes along with taking soooo many digital photo’s! I’ve gotten to the point where i’m overwhelmed by the amount of photo’s i take and the time it takes to transfer them to a safe place (or two LOL ;) , edit some, file them away (digitally), delete some (eh few), tag them, have them printed out to scrap etc etc. Filing the prints etc. Been very inspired by Stacy Julians Photo Freedom, which i am in the midst of now… Thanks for the chance to win a great give-away Ali!

I’ve been working on myself. I’m getting fit again, watching what I eat (giving up chips and alcohol), cutting back on coffee, and reading more for knowledge and fun. It’s making me feel more creative in other areas like scrapbooking, because my mind feels clearer, more focused. Thanks for the opportunity, and for the wonderful photos/smiles! :)
