Three Things : Classic Letter Stamps

Letterstamps
(1) Educational Insights See and Stamp Jumbo Lowercase
• I think these, along with the uppercase set, are probably my favorite stamp set right now.

Anicespot

(2) Hero Arts Basic Uppercase Letters • a classic wood-block sans-serif mini-set. I also love their Printer's Type Alphabet.

(3) Studio Calico's Noah clear stamp set • these are similar to the Educational Insights set, but the nice block serif sets them apart. These are clear acrylic stamps.

Do you have a favorite alphabet stamp set? What do you turn to over and over?

Edited: Thank Typepad for featuring me as a Favorite Blog today.

i do! I have a mini alpha set from Michaels, it was like 99 cents....not even sure of the font, or brand...but, it works perfect for small amounts of journaling, and for dating layouts...I turn to it quite often!
    love you choices!

I have an old rubber set (think I bought it at Michaels also) - they are about 1 inch in height - love them for headers especially. Brody loves them for his scrapbook also. They just get used over and over again. Don't know what I would do without them.

I love my little PSX antique alphabet that I have had for years both LC and UC. I also use a set from Gelatins that is called antique too come to think of it. I love Making Memories misunderstood foam alphabets, but I think I use Philadelphia more often.

I love Tiny Typewriter from Close to My Heart. It's itty bitty, but super cute.

Technique Tuesday Williamsburg - I wish they'd bring them back - mine are almost on their last legs now :( I also use tiny alpha sets from Studio G that cost around $2 - I use them all the time for journalling.

I don't have a stamp set. But I'm constantly turning to my Cricut "Pooh Font" all the time. I use it on almost everything these days.

all of my alpha stamps are small. I've been holding off for one basic set of large, that studio calico font is looking pretty tempting right now.

I love the stamp sets you have chosen. I am also a fan of very clean, very traditional stamp sets.
The stamp sets I turn to most often are my Making Memories foam stamps. I think I have every set. I love love love stamping with paint. The only problem...my crafting office is downstairs with no water source and I have to run upstairs to clean out my brushes and then I ultimately get distracted by something.
Must have hubby put in sink downstairs!!!

I don't really use stamps that often in my scrapbooking. The product I use ALL the TIME are my sticker tweezers by Cutter. They are perfect for peeling and placing stickers and they don't get all gummy! The sharp point is also great for piercing paper for brads. I honestly don't know how I functioned without these tweezers. :)

I was thinking digitally. I have fonts that I go to over and over. But I was thinking I always keep coming back to your brushes The Story Word Art + Hand Drawn Brushes and Everyday Hand-Drawn Brushes. I use them over and over and over! Love them! Thanks for your creative genius!

The set I find myself going to over and over? Technique Tuesdays Willamsburg lowercase. Its my very first stamp set that i purchased when I started this wonderful creative adventure oh so many years ago...and its the one I grab over and over.
I am an admitted fontaholic and love all things fonts - mostly drawn to lowercase well rounded styles like the Studio Calico Noah set...wow love that - the little serif just gives it something special.

Great alphabets, Ali. When I first discovered Stampin' Up!, I bought one of their alphabets. I can't recall the title, but it looks like a classic typewriter font, which is what drew me to it. I have used it so, so much, and I still like it. Probably always will.

I have a few stamp sets, but the one I seem to use alot is Stampin' Up's Brushstroke upper and lower case. I am trying to find bigger letter stamps. Sometimes the Brushstroke is too small for some of my layouts.

I love all of the mini alphabet stamp sets from he dollar spots micheals and target, I have like 5 of them, I can't get enough! But my favorite set I just bought yesterday(the technique tuesday timberline capital set), I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I've had my eye on it for a year or so now, and I went into my LSS and it was on sale for $10 from $40! CAn't wait to see what I'll use it on first!

I love the Noah set also. I think it is my favorite lately, but I also have a set from my local stamp store, Impress Rubber Stamps. I just bought a set of "mixed" letter stamps from Heidi Swapp that I'm excited to try out too!

    Adorable layout.
I love alpha stamps! I have a couple wood sets I use all the time from Hobby Lobby & last week won a great rubber alpha from Unity Stamp Co (it's a wonderful basic font & perfect size).
I have a Heidi Swapp acrylic set too that I don't use much because it just doesn't give good coverage no matter what ink I try.
