To be entered into the drawing today leave a comment answering the following: if you could wake up anywhere, where would it be? This question is completely inspired by the very cool site 50 People, 1 Question (thanks for the link Helen). Comments will be closed tonight at 8pm Pacfic with the winners posted shortly after.
Oooh. This is a good one. I would say Tuscany or Hawaii. I can't decide. Fresh cappucino or fresh pineapple. Mmmmm. Now I am going to be in dreamland all day:)

That is so easy for me right now...I would love to wake up in MONMOUTH, OREGON!!!!! It is 20 years ago today that I first came to visit and lived with a wonderful family and meet so many wonderful friends who I still keep in touch with even though we live on the otherside of the world. My family here in Australia have even been over to visit and meet my family and I have had one of their daughters come and live with my husband and I for 3 months. It was an amazing connection that I am proud to say still makes a difference in my life. So to see some of these wonderful people again in person would be wonderful. The last time I saw them was 13years ago on my honeymoon. How time flies:)

I would wake up in the cottage my husband and I spent our honeymoon at on Ocracoke Island, NC. But this time I would have my son with us! (and of course the weather would be awesome and all three of us would eat breakfast on the deck)

I'd choose to wake up in Germany! We're moving there in July, and I'd like to bypass all the moving stress and just BE there already! :)

There are so many places around the world I'd love to visit or re-visit. However, I'd really prefer just waking up in my own bed, at home. I love listening to the birds chatter outside. I love listening to my girls busy playing. :)

Tobacco Caye, off the coast of Belize. A super tiny island (about an acre big) that has fine grain sand and borders along a reef for easy access to snorkeling. PARADISE!

I would LOVE to wake up in my grandma's duplex to the smell of brewing coffee. My grandma died several years ago and mornings were her favorite part of the day. I miss her dearly.

I'm a homebody...I would love waking up in my own bed, in my own house with my family.
A few hours later than usual would be nice though...after the cleaning fairy was done.

I'd wake up next to my husband anywhere warm. It's been winter too long in Wisconsin.

Any day on vacation is a good day. I love waking up in new places with lots to see. But if I want a good night's sleep, then waking up in my own bed is a must.

So, the question didn't say wake up tomorrow, just wake up....my answer would be Heaven in about 40 more healthy, happy years. I guess that stretches "wake up" doesn't it? Let's call it a spiritual wake up. So thankful for my many Earthly blessings, looking forward to the non-earthly.

Probably here at home, I'm totally fine at our place. BUT I would prefer waking up in our finished bedroom. We switched rooms with the kids recently. Their room is perfect, but ours still needs to be re-arranged, pictures need to be put up, ... .

I would wake up on July 26, 2009 to begin my first day of married life with my husband. It doesn't matter where we are - it's the who that makes it important for me. :)

I would want to wake up at my parents home Up North...they retired and moved to Northern WI shortly after i got married and moved out 15 years ago. we visit often, but not often enough...and as they age and have health issues, it is getting harder and harder to be away.
Plus I love the smell of the wood home, the trees, the lake, and my moms cooking! Now that is something to wake up to!!

After having my son in the ICU unit an hour and a half away from home for a week and spending the night in terrible hospital chairs trying to catch a minute or two of sleep, I'm just happy to wake up in my own bed with my hubby beside me and my kids safely snuggled in their own beds. Boring...but it's true. :) Fabulous giveaways!! Thanks for the chance to win!
