A Weekend in the Life (weekend creative follow-up)

I love this project.
The simple act of remembering to have your camera on hand results in some of the best, most unexpected photos.
I took a ton of shots (more on Saturday compared to Sunday).
For my project this time I decided to do a large digital gathering of 3 inch x 3 inch cropped photos to showcase the weekend. I like seeing all the individual parts of our weekend brought together to create the whole. I will be uploading this today for printing along with most of the photos (scrapbookpictures.com). I have a bunch of specific stories in mind to tell once I get them back from the developer.
Here's a few of my favorite individual shots:
If you played along this weekend feel free to leave a link to your blog or project in the comments. I hope you enjoyed the process.
I would love to see how you chose to document the weekend.
Happy Monday!
Love love love the pictures you highlighted!
So precious!

great photos, and I must agree with Cathy -- you look amazing! I'm reluctant to turn the camera on myself these days, but it's certainly a good motivator.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to blog reading until Saturday afternoon. I loved your idea! I can't wait to see what you do with this project.

I love your 2-page spread and totally lifted it for my weekend project:

Whew!! The weekend is long gone, but it was fun capturing it in detail. Thanks for the idea! I'm not sure yet how I will project this... I'm just starting to digitally scrap. So perhaps it will be a two page spread to go into a 2009 album?? I have enough shots to make its own 8x8 book, but the time? Ah, we'll see what happens. I posted some of my shots on my blog...

This looks great, I am determined to try this this weekend as will be a typical weekend with childrens netball games, extra ballet classes and a birthday party to go to. My only question do you physically crop your 4x6 photos to 3x3 or do you somehow resize them in photoshop first? I have physically cropped to 4x4 when trying to emulate yiour style but most of my photos would lose a lot if trimmed to 3x3 BUT i love the look. Thanks for sharing so much!

Hi Ali,
this was the first time I dared to make such a documentation, because I always feel like one week or so is too overwhelming - and what should I say: I really loved it!
I have blogged just a few pictures:

but I will make a mini-album of this weekend.
