So Very Thankful

For a weekend away with family. For laughter. For good food and cold
drinks. For cameras that capture more than I could ever remember. For little kids. For the ocean and fresh salty air. For
exploration. For movies about the cycle of life. For getting out of
the house and away from the routines of our everyday. For Grandparents. For
tall grass. For secret gardens. For picnics. For conversation. For hugs
and kisses. For sunshine. For possibilities.

I love the one of you all at the table using laptops. I thought that was just my family! The girls have gotten to the point now where they can use the computer themselves. So we’ve got me on my laptop, my hubbie on his, one daughter on another laptop and the other on the desktop. We are all in the same room together and it made me lol seeing that photo of your family. I thought we were the only ones! Oh how times have changed! TFS!!!!!

Ali, Looks like that MOBY WRAP is still coming in QUITE HANDY. Per your recommendation, I ordered one for myself and it just came on Friday; NOW, all I need is to give birth to this little one…. he’s officially DUE on Friday, but sounds like doctor may induce on Thursday if it looks like I am ready… baby measures SO BIG ALREADY! (It is AMAZING to think that MY LIFE WILL CHANGE FOREVER IN A FEW SHORT DAYS!)
You’ve got a BEAUTIFUL family and an eye for great photography. Anna is getting so big, so fast and she looks like SUCH A HAPPY BABY! (She looks just like you.)
How WONDERFUL that someone else was able to catch a snapshot of you AND your family walking on the beach to document such a great weekend.

It was really nice & sunny for the OR coast…but still windy (high 50′s, low 60′s). There were some people on the beach in their bathing suits (a beach that is semi-protected from the wind).

BTW, thanks for the regular reminders that lists are a great way to journal, too. I started journaling daily when I was 7 so I tend to free-write a lot. I wish I’d remember to do lists like this more, though.
