And the giveaways go to...

Thanks everyone for sharing your favorite summer traditions. We are loving summer around here - including a BBQ today where Simon got to swim in a pond. He thought that was the coolest thing

Congratulations to:

Two people will receive an assortment tags and other items from Ormolu (each valued at $20).

(1) milkcan • Eating outside is definitely my favorite summer tradition!

(2) Kelly • Our summer tradition is the hard work of harvest. Summer is time for combining grain and picking cotton.

One person will receive the June kit and the add-ons from JBS Mercantile.

Bethany C • Wow...fantastic giveaways Ali! Thanks for the chance!
My favorite summer tradition is our annual family picnic in August.
It's so fun to reconnect with all the extended family...play, eat,
laugh. Good times.

One person will receive a spot in Jenni's upcoming 3-month class at Big Picture Scrapbooking: Re-Purpose, Re-Think, Re-Invent

Fletch • Every summer all 5 of us kids and the many neighborhood families would
swim at the neighborhood pool and join the swim team. It was quite the
bonding experience. After a meet or an evening swim, we would bbq at
the park with everyone. All the kids running around the park, playing
tag, cards or on the play equipment. My favorite summer tradition was
making the hand churned ice cream afterward as a community. Everyone
got a turn cranking the ice cream makers handle. ( I now know it was a
parents game to have all of us kids think it was so special to do this
and get us to do all the labor - very smart) We would make fresh
vanilla and put freshly sliced peaches on it. That was so good, no
store bought ice cream can even come close. I no longer live in my
hometown, but do hear the stories of the kids who are now grown up
doing the same with their kids. To relive those memories I always have
vanilla ice cream with fresh peaches in June. Summer does not feel
official until I have had my dish... My nieces and nephews have
continued the tradition of the swim meets. I keep track of their
progress and go to a meet unexpectedly when I can. I am their biggest
and loudest fan.

One person will receive the newest kit Renewal from Scrapbooking from
the Inside Out
.

Cheryl • Our favorite summer traditions have changed as my children change and
grow. We always look forward to our vacation in Door County, WI. We
can't afford it this year, our oldest daughter is starting college!
This is a wonderful thing, so no complaining, just a time to discover
new "stay at home" traditions!!

Milkcan, Kelly, Bethany, Fletch, and Cheryl please email me at ali at aliedwardsdesign dot com with your contact information.
