Joyously lived.

Found this gem on Brene's blog recently.

I love what she said about it,

To choose joy over the fear and vulnerability of being different or
weird or ridiculed is a tremendous act of courage - one that touches
all of us.

It also totally reminds me to stop just going through the motions, or doing things just because that is the way they have always been done. What a tremendously wonderful celebration of life.

It seriously makes me want to get up and dance.

I want my life to be so joyously lived.

I totally agree! Love this video. Love that they embraced their day and made it their own. A wonderful reminder to do just that everyday...make this day your own.

I wish i was brave enough to try something like this at my wedding :)
With my luck and ungracefulness, I would end up tripping on my dress going down the aisle. LOL.
I love that they shared it on YouTube though. It must have been a truly memorable ceremony.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! My eyes filled up with tears - truthfully - because I feel these people GET IT. When all is said and done, when the ceremonies are over and day to day life begins - it's the JOY and HAPPINESS felt deep inside that really matters. I LOVE that they were able to put the traditions behind them and CELEBRATE this marriage from the very very start. Thanks so much for sharing this, Ally!!

I found this last week and have watched it about a million times since. I love it - I showed my sister and she said that it was a little disrespectful in a church. I see her point, but at the same time marriage is a thing to celebrate and these people fully understand that. I think it is an awesome way to start their celebration.

Yes, I love this!!! Saw this a few weeks ago. I think this inspired lot of people! They were also invited to go on Good Morning America and replicate their entrance!!! It was so cool!

Love this video...I've also saved it and showed it to my son who just got married June 20th. My son (the taz) and his new wife also "danced" out of their reception to surprise us so when I first saw this video I had to share it with them...we were all very impressed. I love this quote as well and have saved it in my "quote book"...like you say...life is too short to worry about what anyone else is thinking about us...I've always stressed this to my kids and I believe that my kids have had the ability to "live" this because they have such a solid "belief" system with family and spirit. Have a great day, Roberta
