One thing that we do consistently every year is to help serve Christmas dinner to the local senior citizens.

My favorite December tradition is the night that our family drives around to see Christmas lights and stops at Krispy Kreme for a hot doughnut. The kids wear the paper hats and get a well-deserved sugar rush before bed. LOL.

so many people complain about traveling in the car to visit family but I think that is the best part. if I didn't have it to do, I would feel so sad. it's fun just the four of us, talking, and exploring the entire state of Michigan

Our favorite December tradition is getting the whole family together for a walk in the snow after a special meal and then going sledding or building a snowman. Everyone gets involved and it is great. I love the memories of my sons grandma and grandpa going down the hill on a sled together :)

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is reading "Granny Glittens and her Amazing Mittens" to the kids on Christmas Eve. My kids are teens, but we still read it.

Our family tradition is grandpa (called Oompa) playing Santa for the grandkids giving them a personal, comfortable visit. We all stand around with tears in our eyes as they have their unrushed, personal time with him...and photos are in the HUNDREDS!

My favorite tradition is baking Christmas cookies and candies with my kids, and usually several of their friends. It's something they anticipate all year (and they're teenagers now!).
    Thanks for the give-aways.

My favorite tradition is the making of the Christmas lists. We have fun doing it, add lots of humorous & impossible to find items (just for fun), put pics on it and attach coupons for things we would never buy. My hubby shops with his guy friends, so I always "need" something from Victoria's Secret, makes me laugh that they all have to go in there and rifle through panties to find the pair with the design that I asked for. :)

My favorite December tradition is a cookie exchange that started 24 years ago, with my friend and her sisters. We meet at one house or another and bake cookies until the wee hours. We laugh alot and all have a few tins of cookies by the end of the night.

A tradition that me and my best friend started and I continued when I got married is that every year I buy all of us a Hallmark ornament. I try to pick one that best described the person...my husband usually gets an old car, I get something snowman ( I love snowmen) and the kids get something they were into that year...like a Star Wars or Dora ornament.

Being past kids and grandkids, and now into great-grands, my favorite thing is after my dh has finished putting up the tree and all the Christmas decorations, we turn out all but the tree lights and just bask in the quiet glow.

Once again your sponsors have been amazing with their generosity.
Fav Christmas tradition is on Christmas Eve when our grandchildren are allowed to open their Christmas Stocking from Grandma and Grandpa. Every year it is filled with traditional items, a tangerine, a chocolate marshmellow Santa, Silver dolloars for each child's age, and a special ornament as well. The children really look forward to it and we so enjoy their delight :)

My favorite family tradition is the cutting of the Christmas tree. My family owns a farm that used to grow trees for Christmas. We don't sell them but every year we invite all our family and friends and take a hayride up into the tree grove. We sing carols, drink hot cocoa, and throw snowballs around. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy the tradition very much. Afterwards, we go to my parents house for a big dinner!
