Oooops, almost forgot: LOVE is a verb, not a feeling. It is something that is demonstrated through our words and actions. If you FEEL love for someone, it’s nothing until it’s demonstrated. If you love someone, but aren’t FEELING it, you can still demonstrate your love by what you say and do.

i think that more people need to realize that love is not an emotion that we feel (or not only an emotion) it is a choice we make. we have to make a choice to love people (sometimes daily, sometimes hourly), even our spouses or significant others. we have to say to ourselves “i can choose to love this person” and it really can and does make a difference in difficult situations. it is an action that we must do. it is not something that always comes easily or naturally. but it can happen.
