Anna and I are off on a girl's weekend. We flew to Charlotte, North Carolina yesterday to visit my sister and niece and attend some of Donna Downey's Inspired event.
Have a good time with your sister, and cousin time is awesome i always remember playing with my cousins when i was younger even if they were all boys lol, by the time i got a girl cousin i was old enough to look after them which was just as much fun……
Have fun! And Ali? I couldn’t help but notice Anna’s chair. Be careful about putting a big person chair underneath while she’s in it. (can you check your directions?) My son liked to stand up by putting his feet on the ladder back chair. He almost dislodged the seat, falling to the floor! Maybe it’s just my monkey.
Have fun seeing Donna as well.
We have that same Chicco chair! We used it so much that my mom bought one for her house in Ohio so I didn’t have to transport ours back and forth for visits. I’m not sure about the post above that states about the chair underneath…but I do have a memory of the directions stating not to put anything underneath the seat. Of course, if she’s strapped in correctly, its good. I was always so scared that the seat would malfunction or something and he’d fall to the ground, so I put a chair under my son too!
It must be nice to have little girls together and for you sisters to watch them bond. They are so cute, I’m sure they are having a blast. Glad Anna rocked on her airplane ride, hope she does on the way back too. Thanks for sharing.
Now you got me curious – how has Anna become such a great traveler? I’ve thought about taking my 16 month old on a plane for travel but am not sure how he’d do. ??
Welcome to Charlotte! I hope you have a great trip amd enjoy visiting our sister. I always love hearing that you’re coming to my town, even if I don’t know you.
Hi Ali! Hope you have a safe trip. I don’t know what your plans are, but I’d love to meet you in Charlotte. We live here. My family just left from a week’s visit from Oregon. They drove across the entire country to see us. They live outside of Portland. You can contact me via my blog if you like…

AND I SAW YOU THERE! Yep, this is the fruity woman who almost cried when I saw you that day. I hope you got to some of the workshops … it truly is an ‘inspiring’ event isn’t it?
Everyone, Ali is just as gracious and warm in person as she appears on this blog. A very nice person.
