Wow again, everyone did such an awesome job on these albums. So much fun seeing how different yet the same idea. I am leaning more towards doing it digital next time, they look so great. My printer was down for the last couple weeks, so I had to handwrite so much of my album. Are their more to come tomorrow Ali? Can you show us any cute pictures yet from Mother’s Day?
these are so wonderful and inspiring – what a great celebration of everyday life!
What a wonderful and diverse collection of projects! Thrilled to have been included with such a creative group
Ali,
I’ll admit I didn’t play along. It was a hectic week, and I felt I wouldn’t have “time”, but boy, was there a lot I could have captured and treasured!!
Seeing yours and other completed albums has really inspired me to FINALLY do this! You’re right, some people need to see the ending before they can begin…
This could be the most important album I ever make, because it’s so real.
Thanks so much for all the inspiration!
Wow. just wow. Some very talented people you have featured there. They are wonderful. I am sure that your families will enjoy looking back on those books. I really need to do this project.
I love the variety of everyone’s styles and now realize that the simplicity of one photo with simple journaling on it can be amazing. My favorites are the layouts that are clean and graphic. No fussy doo-dads. Excellent work everyone!
It is so inspiring to see the participation in this project and to see how they are the same and yet so different! Still working on my last few pages…
love, love those pages. Inspiring and amazing. I wish more people did this project – it is absolutely fascinating to see how people live their lives! If only my Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, etc. did something similar to this – what a treasure it would be to me now!
So many great books!!! They all make me want to go and scrapbook right now!
Wow, love seeing the variety and a peek at everyones’ life…great project
Bravo to everyone!
oh my! i started putting mine together last night – and thank goodness i havent started gluing yet!! so much inspiration here!
Ali, thank so you much for sharing various albums. It’s always nice to see everyone’s take on the project and the creativity out there. I enjoyed participating in A Week In the Life.
It’s almost overwhelming – so wonderful to see so many days, moments and weeks all together – thank you so much Ali!
I love the digibook that Marlies made! Wow! I can do that to!
Ali isn’t there a museum out there that could do an exposition on this project?
These are all amazing!! Ali this project was so inspiring and rewarding to do. I would love to know if you are doing more reader examples tomorrow. Thanks Sabrina
Amber Lee and Katrina all in one post??? How fantastic!
Thanks for sharing all these different renditions of the Week in the Life project. I can’t wait to have time to dig in and look at all these to find the inspiration I need to do my own! Thanks!
Wow! Everyone’s albums are fabulous! I didn’t play along right now, but I am planning to do so this summer. In fact, there are 6 of us in the family, and I’m going to give everyone a day to document, then I’ll do the 7th day – from the point of view of our cat and dog! Anyway, thanks everyone for the inspiration!
So many inspiring examples, from the minimalist to the to the embellished. I find myself drawn to the ones with fewer images, but its very hard for me approach my own story that way.
Everyone is doing SUCH a great job!
You are ALL inspiring me to keep going and get it done*!*
Thank you : )
Wow nice pictures… i love the last photo..the baby swinging he is so cute!!
Wow. Lots of inspiration in that post!! Glad everyone is sharing
Awesome albums! It’s amazing that all over the world we think we’re doing the best we can with the time we’ve got-only you all have done one better!
I love to see all of these albums and it’s so refreshing that everyone’s has got their own style and I love the mix of digital, paper or hybrid! A lot of inspiration here and it’s so much fun to see my album in the middle of it.
Thanks Ali!

Thank you Ali for the great inspiration of creating this AWESOME album! This is my 2nd time around and I love it even more! I do love creating this documented history for my son — I know, years from now, he’ll look back at what life used to be like at home… It’s such an awesome experience! Thank you again. If you’d like to view photos of it, I just blogged about it! http://abbysetti.blogspot.com/2010/05/week-in-life-2010-album.html
