    Misty eyes here as I try to type this. I bet you went up to Simon and gave him a big hug, loving him for loving you. He knew that moment was something to capture for eternity.
    Just a few moments ago my youngest was snuggling with my FIL and she told him, “Papa, I love you.” And just snuggled with him for about 3 more minutes until she needed to get up and get the doodle boards they play on together. It’s their special activity and he loves that she only does it with him.

    You know that saying about the best gift a father can give his children is to love their mother? I see Chris in here too – Simon sees his dad’s love for his family modeled every day and enacted in the many beautiful pictures he takes. I think of you often when my husband takes great scrappable images. Simon has it lucky: two creative parents who know how to appreciate what they see :-)
