AE Inspirations | 08.31.2010
Here's a look at some things around the web that have been inspiring me lately (some of these have been posted on Twitter and/or Facebook - I often post inspiring links as I find them):
VIDEOS
1. Moments on Devour. "Our lives are just a bunch of moments."
2. Storytelling Series: "Remember Me" by Lesley Graham.
3. The "PEN" Story. The most seriously awesome stop motion video.
WORDS
1. Where I'm From by Autumn. I love this idea of writing your life in a poem (even if you're not a poet).
2. Life Story Journaling Prompts via Dedra Long.
3. ThxThxThx : A Thank You Note A Day
4. The Impossible Project. I recently got myself a fun old polaroid (pictured above) and ordered film from The Impossible Project. Loved when I opened up the film I found "stand on a rainbow" printed on the outside. I can't wait to open the next box to see what message is inside.
TUTORIALS
1. Hidden Journaling Using The Slice via Making Memories blog. Cool idea even if you don't have a Slice.
TOMORROW
A special 10-sponsor giveaway celebrating the launch of my new site.
Awesome! makes me want some of that film!

Cannot wait to see the new site! So fun. I dug up my old Polaroid from when I was 10 and found some film at a garage sale - gave it to the kids. They don't appreciate a good thing, though. ;)

Oh, that's a good impossible message! My last one was smell like teen spirit. I'm sorry, but that's not super inspiring. ;)
No, I totally agree Sarah.

Wow, just watched the Moments video...blew me away. I really needed to be reminded of this today. The video made me appreciate life and reminded me to enjoy the ordinary moments that are making my life what it is...every single day.

That's a good idea - posting links as you find them. I often find something inspiring and then spend WAY TOO LONG a week later trying to find them again!

Hi Ali, I have been checking out the imposible project. Which film do you reccomend? It's quite pricey, so I want to make a good choice. Thank you.

Like your new website, love looking at your old projects as well as you new ones. I love that you make your children the centre of your scrapbooking universe, you'll be so glad you did. In the blink of an eye they"ll be off on the own adventures and will love this gift of their childhood they can relive through your books.
