One of the things I loved was the school supplies. A fresh, clean, new notebook, crayons that were all in one piece and shiny, pens and pencils that were still in their packages. Lovely!

I loved the smell of crayons. I loved Mrs. Rhodes, my kindergarten teacher, Mr. O'Connor 7th grade social studies teacher, Mrs. Weintraub 11th grade English teacher, Dr. Sherman statistics professor. Mostly I loved the teachers who cared. I try to remember the gifts they gave me so I can be a gift to others.

What I love most about school is that I never could get enough - my bachelors at 40, my masters at 50, what next? I would go forever if I could!

I actually still go to school, but as staff now. I love all the bright shiny faces, new school shoes, pencils, books.

Excitement fills the air, as well as school lunches and library books.
Do you remember how exciting it was to get to check out a book from the school library the very first time.

The things I loved about school were my friends, my favorite teachers and the opportunity to go to the library because I love to read. Back then is was biographies that kept me entertained.

The first day was awesome! New outfit and shoes, new backpack(ofcourse the oversized "1 size gits all" gigantic backpack), and the coolest lunchbox of the moment....I still remember my 1st grade (1983) Star Wars Return of The Jedi lunchbox....loved it.

I loved school supplies. In that respect, I don't think I've grown up. Except now, my supplies are for scrapbooking. Nothing beats new paper, pens, clips, etc! Thanks for the great school giveway.

Exciting and terrefying all at ounce. Not knowing the teacher and some of the students always made me uneasy (I was very shy as a kid).

For me school was a delight--I loved reading and book reports, music and singing, playing games that teachers created to build skills. I enjoyed most teachers and loved playing with and talking with friends. A favorite memory, playing "I send" at recess. I was a great runner and thus successful at "I send".
