December Daily Featured In Scrapbooks Etc. Magazine
A really big thank you to Scrapbooks Etc. magazine for featuring my 2009 December Daily album in their December 2010 issue (available now).
A few months back I received an email from editor Michelle Rubin asking if I'd be interested in writing about the process of putting together a December Daily, including my top 10 tips and suggestions. I felt totally honored - it sounded like a really awesome opportunity to me!
They did a beautiful job photographing my album and laying out the 8-page article.
Members of the Scrapbooks Etc. editorial team are participating in creating albums this year and they've started including images and observations on their blog. I love seeing people's albums at this stage - so much potential and possibility - and the variety is really cool. People are taking the idea and running with it - creating albums that fit with their lifestyle, level of time commitment, etc.

I bought this magazine on a whim at the grocery store and was super happy to see your Dec Daily article! Make sure and let us know if you get published in other magazines, I like to cut the articles out and put them in a binder for reference.

I am making 8X8 album about my husband for his 85th birthday. This is an "All About ME" album. He has had such a successful and full life. this is a Fun album. I have made one other 12x12 of his childhood through high school. HE is a multi-album sort of guy. LOL Loving the album.

Hi Ali this is my 3rd year to do the Dec. Daily and I am basically finished already to go when I can start documenting! I just love the idea of documenting this special time and how each year you can find something new and special that has actually been there along! Love the article in Scrapbook etc

Congratulations Ali. I can't wait to go and pick up a copy of the magazine. I am going to try to participate in the December Daily Albums this year. I have started twice and life took over and the albums never got completed. I am hoping this year will be different. Thanks for the inspiration.

I had heard that your Dec Daily was featured in this magazine and this morning I walked to Chapters to pick it up but they only had the Oct issue (I didn't know which issue it was in). Glad to hear that I didn't miss it. Can't wait to pick up this issue. Also - Nice to see your work in a magazine again.
