Early Tuesday Morning
Waiting for the bus. Giggling while being chased by Dad. Lily wanting to play fetch. Hot coffee. Orange twinkle lights. Anna already off with Kim. Bagel & cream cheese. Teeth-brushed. Hair sprayed with water to keep that "crazy hair" at bay. Papers placed in backpack and reminders spoken to give them to his teacher. Fog. Shoes on. Coat on. Fewer verbal reminders these days than in the past. Conversation about how happy he has been lately. Third grade. Subjects + predicates. Routines. Rhythms. Fall.
A lovely little life you have. Cherish it.

Love these 'snippets' of yours......reminds me that I must do them more often myself. I actually have an album entitled 'Snippets' that I set up just for this purpose, but it always gets waylaid in my rush to complete everything else. Funny, as its the one album I know will have most value in the future. Children grow so quickly, pass through so many wonderful stages so quickly, its invaluable to record them as often as possible....
Thanks, Ali - I have renewed passion for my 'Snippets' album and am going to see what system I can set up to "make it work".......

I love reading about Simon, he's the same age as my daughter, Dreidynn. She came home with Subject + Predicate work just the other day :)
