I look forward to extra time off work over the holidays. Gives me a chance to relax first, and then tackle projects that have been waiting in the wings.

without question, i look forward to time with family and friends. We spend so much time throughout the year working, running errands, and living life that taking time during the holidays to breathe, relax and just be with the people who mean the most to me is by far the best part of the holiday season.

I am making 2 quilts for my grandchildren, and every stitch will be made with the love I have for them. I also love the decorating and making special foods and baking. But most of all I look forward to the SPIRIT of Christmas, remembering why it is we celebrate Christmas and, regardless of one's faith, that spirit seems to seep into our lives, if only for a short while. Those smiles and "Merry Christmas" greetings and little extras that no other season produces.

I love decorating the house, spending time with family, and the traditions I make sure we keep up each year. I know the kids count on them...and I realize every year how much I look forward to our traditions, even if I'm scrambling to fill shoes for St Nicks Day, or making sure Jesus' birthday cake has enough candles.

What I look forward to now is experiencing the December Daily with my patients. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and I am quite interest in the therapeutic benefits of the INSIDE OUT give away, because it is about emotion, Much of my work is teaching women it is OK to feel their emotions, and that there are no right or wrong feelings.

I look forward to the extra special family time such as the Polar Express train ride with the kids, driving around town to see all the lights, and snuggling in our pj's around the tree to read and watch the train go round.

During the Holidays, I most look forward to the family time we get to have. My husband works long hours during the day and only sees our girls for a few minutes each night before they have to go to bed. He gets some time off for the Holidays though, so we soak up as much as we can. :)

Thanks for the chance to win!

I love staying up late with my husband, playing santa, decorating the presents, we usually have a cocktail, and talk about how the kids will react to their gifts and imagining their faces when the find the gifts from Santa. We are really quiet so we don't wake them, and after we are all done, we sit back and take in everything. It's quiet and peaceful and we savour that time together and just get cozy watching the fire. That is one of my most favorite rituals about Christmas.
