These are some nice giveaways. I always look forward to making home-made Christmas cards with my kids and husband on Sundays during the entire month of November while recounting our many blessings and the family and friends that mean so much to us all.

This is the first year in the 4 years we've been married that we aren't traveling for Christmas. I'm excited to spend our very first Christmas morning in our own home, just the two of us.

I look forward to spending time exploring the many events happening around New Orleans with friends and family. New Orleans is such a unique city and it is fun exploring it. Even though I was born and raised here, I always find new things to see and enjoy.

I am looking forward to enjoying everything the season brings (except snow). I have most of my shopping done and the rest I have planned. Now, I am just filling our advent calendar with service projects, and fun outings for the kids to do.

I live in Australia, so it's always summer over the Christmas/New Year break - and what I look forward to most is hanging out on my parents boat with all the family - swimming, snorkelling and laughing together!

I love the time with family first and foremost. But I love the creative nature of the holidays! Creating beautiful home decor, creating tasty treats from the kitchen, and drinking coffee on the back porch next to a fire with some great conversation!

It's hard to pick just one thing I love the most about the holidays but if I had to I would pick the traditions we are passing on to our children. Family traditions are important to us and we hope to instill in our children the love of these traditions so they will eventually pass them on to their own children.

I look forward most to spending time with my family, especially my husband. This year is hard because he won't be here because he is deployed. This will be our third Christmas apart. Our daughter is really missing daddy, and I know it will only get worse with the holidays fast approaching.

I usually love the holidays. It is a time to reconnect with family and friends. I'm a bit melancholy about the holidays this year. For the first time in 28 years, neither of my girls will be home and I'm just not getting into the holiday spirit as much as usual. Both have good reasons for not making it home, but I will still miss them terribly.

OH, come on guys! I look forward to creating my December Daily, of course! It give me a glimpse back (even if it's notcomplete) at moments gone by that maybe I was too busy to stop and really enjoy. It brings that feeling back. Love it!

I look forward to time with my family, my husband and kids where we can sit and relax and enjoy each others company, without the calls from work or running around of the everyday. Just quiet time together where we can actually talk, laugh and play games.
