I'm also currently reading Liz's new book Inner Excavation: Exploring Your Self Through Photography, Poetry and Mixed Media. The poetry part scares me a bit and that's probably why I should be reading it.

Add another to the crier list. I have tears in my eyes after reading the God box. I am thinking in my head about what I could use for my first one. Thanks for sharing Ali.

I probably shouldn't have read The God Box article, but I am glad I did. It just hit too close to home for me having just lost my mom from breast/brain cancer 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I usually don't participate in link parties... I did visit all of yours today. Bookmarked a few to read thoroughly this week.
But wow, your Real Simple link to "The God Box" was so touching and inspirational as a mother & a daughter.

I also enjoyed "Be more with less".

Thank you for sharing these articles!

Perfect timing for a bit of reflection... blessings for the New Year ahead!

I read the "How to Study Layouts" article ... WOW! That is EXACTLY what I was needing ... seriously. I love how she broke it down and made it step-by-step. I even signed up for the class she offered! Thanks for the link!

One of these years it's totally going to sink in :). I'm actually really good with the getting rid, it's the bringing in less that I seem to be challenged with.

Hi Ali! I love your site despite not being a scrapbooker yet...I have a 2,3 and 4 year old so I should be recording but I still find it overwhelming:) Anyway, I usually get on to your site to reread your favorite quotes, which I can't find today. I wanted to print some out. Can you help me ge to them or are they gone? Thanks for the help. And my word for the year is "plant" as we too just moved. Thanks so much! Rachel

Every link was a treasure, Ali. It was spiritually moving to read the God Box article. And, coincidentally, after reading Bio pages, two of the other authors live very near me! Stalking is a bad thing, right? :) Enjoy your new year and, thank you, as always for sharing your talents and yourself with us.
