Oh my goodness you are so good at capturing the ordinary in the extraordinary in your photos. She is extraordinary and love that big hat on her small cute self. Thank you ali.

I have a question about the long journalers. Are they page protectors, or cardstock that fits into a page protector? If so, what kind of page protector do you put them in, since they are only 41/4 inches wide?

p.s. I love Simon's birthday pages! They will be inspiration for creating my own.

Hi Ellen - the Long Journalers are a product that you download from Designer Digitals and print at home onto cardstock. I printed it out, slipped it into an 8.5x11 page protector, stitched along the edge of the journaler to create a pocket, and then trimmed off the excess page protector using my paper trimmer.

Because of the graininess (sp?) of the pic, I thought this was you circa the 70s! Wow, I can't believe how much Anna looks like you.

    Have a great day!

Wow -- what a darling! Thanks for sharing...you are such an inspiration. My daughter often appears "in costume" and so often I just laugh and move on...now I will definately pause to capture the moment...

    Fancy smancy, soooo cute.
Ali a quick question, today's photo of Anna is in a frame and was wondering if the frame is a digital element or if it came out of the camera with a frame...aka like old polaroid photos.
I am trying to find a digi frame for photos to make them look like old polaroid snaps.
    Thanks,
    Catherine

      Hi Ali, charming photo.

One can also google "Poladroid" for a little button that turns ordinary photo's into polaroid looking ones. It also has a similar frame around the photo. I think I found it via Molly Irwin's site (on her summer project blog).

Love it, love it, love it. Super fun. I've been using it even more because the little images fit really nice inside the project life page protectors.

So cute!! This picture looks like it was taken in the '70's. Just the feel of it and the white space around the photo makes me think of some photos my parents have in their 'photo drawer'. Next time I'm home, I'm going to grab some of those photos to scan!
