Join Kelly Purkey and friends for Sketchbook 3! This is a self-paced four week class filled with fresh sketches, easy instructions, beautiful examples, and lots of fun. From April 4th to April 29th a PDF will be delivered to your inbox every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. By the end of the class, you'll have a complete sketchbook of 12 original sketches, 38 layouts, and an additional 38 sketches based on those creative pages. All of the examples are brand new layouts, exclusive to this class... you won't see them anywhere else. The best part is that you will be receiving an example layout from Kelly for each of the sketches, along with two (or more) example layouts from a very talented contributor. Each PDF for Sketchbook 3 will also include a card designed by the amazing Jennifer McGuire based on the daily sketch.

I love the little clusters of flowers that start popping their heads through the dried leaves in my woods. They create a bright spot in an otherwise blandly colored world. A little bit of sunshine!

I love seeing all of the little creatures coming back out of winter hibernation. Chickadees, squirrels, blue heron are a sign of spring here.

Cherry Blossoms! This is our 3rd year in DC and I love that we get to enjoy them for awhile amidst all the great historical monuments. I just love all the excitement that comes with them and the excitement of spring.

Well here in New Orleans spring arrives early. A few weeks ago I had to cut the lawn, not for the grass but for the weeds. I just love the spring colors, although here we have color pretty much year round. Some plants that are annuals tend to stay here all year.

I'm loving taking out my clothes for my son and I for this new season. Clothes I haven't worn since last year and brand new clothes for my little one that I can't wait to see him in. Short sleeves and shorts/capris, here we come. :)
