My favourite thing to receive on Mother’s Day is some kind of special acknowledgement from my son. He has a wonderful way of making the day and not even knowing it.

Thanks for the chance to win.

Mother’s Day has already been in Wales and i got the best present. All my children handmade cards for me. The boys made me cards with the characters from the Numberjacks which are purple – my favorite color. I loved the fact that they thought about me when they decided what to put on the card.

Just time spent together is a gift to me. As I get older I realize that giving or getting material things doesn’t seem to matter so much anymore. Being present is the best present.

Actually my most favourite thing to do on Mothers Day is to spend it with my mother. Although myself, I am a mother nothing gives me more joy than seeing my Mum, giving her a big hug and seeing her enjoy time with her Grandkids. Thanks Mum for being such a rock in my life.
    Love me :-)

My totally favourite thing would be for my son & DiL to visit but since they are 12000 miles away it’s unlikely. However I do get spoiled because we have had Mother’s Day here in the UK when I got two phone calls and I will get another Mother’s Day in May when Australia (where he lives) and the U.S. (where his wife is from) celebrate.

Flowers are my favorite thing to give and receive. So far, only my mother has given me flowers for Mothers day! I love that no matter what our budget, we can always afford a cheap flat of something pretty. Like pansies, which were her Nanna’s favorite, and mine.

For Mother’s Day I love to give my mom something i’ve created. I can remember doing this for as far back as I can recall. Coupons for me to clean my room or wash the car… I love that i get to put my passions together and make my mom happy at the same time!

I love receiving and giving thoughtful gifts – something meaningful to the person receiving, maybe something that ties in with a memory from childhood or something special the person likes – for my mom that usually means frogs!

My mom’s birthday is the week before Mother’s day, so we’ve always kept it simple. Each year I buy her flowers and in the card, I’ve started making a list…thanking her for all of the little things that she does throughout the year.

I love to get something the kids picked out. One year it was some very fuzzy pjs, another year it was a secrets behind Harry Potter book (they know I love Harry), another year it was a video of them saying why they love me (that’s still my favorite). It’s the thought that goes with the gift that means so much.

My favorite thing to receive is Mother’s Day Breakfast In Bed compliments of my son and daughter. This tradition started when my kids were toddlers with the help of dad. The sight of them carrying the tray into my room is unforgettable. The picked the menu and most often it isn’t a breakfast I would normally eat but without fail it’s the best breakfast of the entire year and I enjoy every bite. Of course they both sit in bed with me and want to share LOL
