Thankful Thought | No.3
Even though it's not my favorite place, I'm thankful for the joy the kids find at Chuck E. Cheese (and I'm also so very thankful that Simon was invited to a classmates birthday party which was the reason we went on a recent weekend).
Download Thankful Thought | 003 overlay here.
A couple people have asked if I have plans for these Thankful Thought images beyond posting them here on my blog. At this time, no. They would make a really nice, simple little mini-album - maybe for Mother's or Father's Day too.
Thankful Thoughts is a new semi-regular series. If you've missed any of the previous weeks please check out the archive. Click above to download a free Thankful Thought overlay to add to your own photo. Thankful Thought | 001 included a rounded corner mask and a video tutorial to show you how to work with both the mask and the photo overlay.
What a sweet photo! Thank you x3 for the overlay. :-)

Pictures of Simon & Anna often remind me of my brother and myself. I was a little blond girl with a "cool" older brother...my brother was 11 when I was adopted. I idolized him and wanted to play with him constantly usually he was a great sport about it. They are very fond memories prompted by your adorable kids. I think I'll call the cool older brother tonight just to say "hi".

Can you share the name of the font used for "thankful thought"? I like the very thin lines of "thought". It's hard to find that in a font. Thanks in advance.
Hi Brenda - it's called Avenir (both words are Avenir - one is the Light version).

I liked Chuck E. Cheese much better when my kids were finally old enough to just go play and I could sit and read a book :-). Then it was fun for all of us!

I'm about to be a Mum of two and always love seeing photos of your kids having fun together. Hopefully I'll be able to witness this in my home soon too - maybe after the initial getting used to things stage!

Ali,
Thank you for these Thankful Thoughts. I've enjoyed adding them to one of my photos and putting them into my Project Life album. It's provided me with a little twist for the journaling card on occasion. Love that it's perfectly random, flexible, and totally positive!
Thanks,
Kasey

Thanks for sharing the downloads. My thankful thought upon reading your post? That my son has outgrown Chuck E. Cheese! In our area there have been numerous occasions where the cops had to brought in to break up the fights between the grown-ups...and we live in "safe" Lancaster County!
