Very cool special effects for the fireworks. WOW The fireworks send my bulldog MAE under anything she will fit under.

Ali, I tried to listen to Vimeo video for getting ready for a week in the life of... as boring as it will be since its just me and could barely hear your voice. They didn't address it. I've never had that problem.

This probably a personal problem but the therapist said to address the subject with you....Ok. I've purchased hundreds of dollars worth of digital stuff from DD downloaded them into PE 3 and CS4. I have no clue where they are or how to file them much less use any of it. Ive been scrapbooking for almost 20 years and I really want to master it. I've listened to all the tutorials print the instructions and do follow each and every step and reach different points and bang nothing. I need a face to face in person with someone with my computer my brain to sit with me and teach me. I will pay for this time, I will go to their city and have a hotel room where the classes can occur. Whom do you suggest? I'm almost 62 and I am feeling an urgency to document my story. My sweet mom died last year and I have documents and pictures from before 1600 and want to protect them, my kids, my stuff, my parents, grandparents plus everyday life. I feel as if I'm running out of time. Please help with suggestions. I know you would not be interested, but you know so many people. If Italy you could do this for me I'd sign up now!

Happy Birthday to the greatest country - Go democrats!!!!!!!

Hi Marilyn and other looking for in person digiscrapping classes

I run one-on-one classes in Perth, Western Australia - which may be a bit far to come! More info here: http://mshanhun.com/in-person-classes/
      Group workshops: http://mshanhun.com/category/2011-schedule/

And I also do one-on-one online classes too

I hope you find someone local to you!

The Memory Boutique in Rockford, Michigan does one-on-one consulting. You can check them out at www.thememoryboutique.net.

Hi Marilyn - I'm checking through Facebook and Twitter to see if someone has a recommendation for some one-on-one education. I don't know anyone off the top of my head so we'll see what that comes up with.

It sounds to me like the biggest issue is that you don't know where the files are going when you download them. After purchasing the files you are given the option to download them onto your computer - you don't download them into a specific program, but rather they go to a location on your computer (desktop or other location - on Mac's I think the default is a folder on the hard drive called "downloads."

My first suggestion would be to choose one of the files you've downloaded and do a specific search for that product on your computer. That's what I do when I don't know where a file is located.

Where are you located Marilyn? I'm just on the southern outskirts of Las Vegas, NV and if you are near me, I would love to get together and help you get going. It's just too important to not document your story! It's how I got started too!
I'm the one Sabrina is talking about that teaches privately via Skype and she sent me a note about your problem thinking I may be able to help you.
There are many many good teachers out there, but sounds like you just need a good basics of how to get organized and started.

Ali's recommendations are very good also! Jessica was how I made all the dots come together and I was very Photoshop savvy before that, just didn't know how to apply to scrapbooking until I took her classes. :D

Thank you guys for many suggestions. Perth, Austailis is a bot gar for a weekend:( I'm in Houston, Tx. I've tried classes but I need visual hands on with the instructor talking me through each step. All of the SB stores have closed. I don't consider Michaels a real SB store.

I will definitely check into Ali's suggestions. I will contact several of you this week. Again thank you Ali. I hope I didn't take up to much of your time.
