2012 Events | Be Present Retreat & ScrapMap Tour Of Ireland
IRELAND WITH SCRAPMAP | Interested in traveling with like-minded people who enjoy photography and memory keeping?
Details about a tour of Ireland next October with me, Karen Russell (a dear friend, amazing photographer & teacher of photography, and just all around good human being) and Jim West (who I loved traveling to Italy with last month) are now available here.
YOUR STORY RETREAT | In addition to Ireland I'll be attending another Be Present Retreat (called Your Story) with Liz Lamoreux and Kelly Barton in June. Initial information is available here with more details to come.
Please note: Events are generally listed on my Events Page. It's likely I'll be adding a few more things to my calendar for 2012 over the next few months. I'll keep you posted.

Ireland is so incredibly beautiful. Looks like a fantastic trip!!
I am also quite intrigued by the Your Story retreat and signed up to receive more info when its available. The Oregon Coast is also a wonderous place.

come to Boston!!! I'd love to participate in one of your classes/workshops. ; ) Anything upcoming in New England?? New York??
Definitely come to Boston!! There's a GREAT store called Absolutely Everything (in Topsfield, not far) that has a great classroom space, and lots of fun, fabulous folks to create with! I'd love to see you again, Ali! xo, Mary Beth

HI Ali- Do you think you and Karen would go next year if there's another trip? I want to go to Ireland with my boyfriend the 1st time since he has always wanted to go,and I wouldn't feel right going with out him. Plus he can't get more time off from work since we are planning on going to Hawaii next year with the kids...just thought i'd ask ;0)
You mean a second trip in 2012? Most likely no - just too much travel/time away from home.

Hope you have a great time in Ireland Ali, and as I live there was just wondering are you doing any classes for us "locals" while you are here?

Sounds like a lovely trip, Ali.
Have husbands come on these trips in the past?
thanks,
Sheri
Hi Sheri - we had two husbands on the Italy trip this past October. They are more than welcome.

Oh how I wish that I could go on the Ireland trip. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and it's such an amazing country. I'll be there in spirit for sure! :)

I want to try to talk my husband on going on this one! I have always wanted to go to Ireland and I love how the trip is all mapped out for us! Do people go on these trips solo? My husband said if I really wanted to go I could go, but really don't know about doing a big trip like this without him.

I was so bummed that I couldn't make it work to go on the Italy trip, but I am definitely going to make the Ireland one!!
Would love to have you there!

As much as I would love to visit Ireland, I think Oregon would be more feasible for me (& my family). Love the idea of visiting the coast. I'm looking forward to seeing more details:)

Having been to Ireland, and seen firsthand the beauty that is the Rock of Cashel, I'm envious of anyone who gets to attend this tour.

Oh wow Ali - great looking trip to Ireland. I see you won't be making it as far as Cork (Lonely Planet listed it in the Top Ten Cities in the world to visit in 2009!). Despite that (and the fact that I live in Cork) the itinerary sounds wonderful. Lots of photo opportunities.
