Buckeyes! People not from Ohio probably don’t know what those are! You take peanut butter and confectioner’s sugar, mix and roll into a ball. Then after refrigerating the ball you dip it in melted chocolate. Pure heaven!

It’s Summer down here, so I love anything with a salad but my all time favourite at this time of the year is ham on the bone. It’s kind of a staple here, we get a big ham for Christmas Day and then because we don’t want to waste any of it, we tend to eat it non-stop for the next week… breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love it best, thick ham steaks, char grilled with a salad and mint sauce!!!

Definately a toss up between my parents’ pork pie on Christmas Eve, which is a recipe that’s been in the family for generations, or my mother-in-law’s strawberry pie that is their family’s secret recipe. One’s a meal and the other’s a dessert. It’s impossible to choose. Thanks for the chance to win!

Choc dipped strawberries for sure. It is not Christmas without fresh berries :D We have a German girl and an American girl staying with us and they were both amazed to have strawberries at Christmas. Northern Hemisphere Christmases seem awesome but I don’t know how you go without berries LOL.
