I just love Christmas Cake with cheese. But it has to be a rich fruit cake with marzipan and royal icing.

Buckeyes! People not from Ohio probably don't know what those are! You take peanut butter and confectioner's sugar, mix and roll into a ball. Then after refrigerating the ball you dip it in melted chocolate. Pure heaven!

I love the cookies my grandma makes. I don't even know the names of most of them. I just know that I eat too many!

It's Summer down here, so I love anything with a salad but my all time favourite at this time of the year is ham on the bone. It's kind of a staple here, we get a big ham for Christmas Day and then because we don't want to waste any of it, we tend to eat it non-stop for the next week... breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love it best, thick ham steaks, char grilled with a salad and mint sauce!!!
Oh yes Christmas Ham is a biggie at our place too. Hot for Christmas lunch then cold cuts for the rest of the time :D

Definately a toss up between my parents' pork pie on Christmas Eve, which is a recipe that's been in the family for generations, or my mother-in-law's strawberry pie that is their family's secret recipe. One's a meal and the other's a dessert. It's impossible to choose. Thanks for the chance to win!

Definitely all the Christmas cookies! My favorites are the ones with the almond paste and little chopped up almonds and also mint chocolate meringues. Yum!

This it tough: my mom's cinnamon star cookies, sand tarts, or homemade cinnamon bread on Christmas morning. And I don't know that it is my favorite, but I just discovered Egg Nog flavored seltzer and it was pretty yummy.

Choc dipped strawberries for sure. It is not Christmas without fresh berries :D We have a German girl and an American girl staying with us and they were both amazed to have strawberries at Christmas. Northern Hemisphere Christmases seem awesome but I don't know how you go without berries LOL.
Love scrapbook.com and you Ali so thanks for the giveaway!
