Reasons To Smile MiniBook from Amy Tangerine

Mini books are great for documenting everything from travels to everyday adventures. They're a perfect place to keep all kinds of little treasures. Though assembling a mixed paper journal can be fun, sometimes it's easier to simply add your unique touches to a book that is already made. I wanted to create a little place for random things that bring a smile to my face. I used the I Heart You Daybook, washi tapes, lace tape, this hand-stitched tag and some elements from my new line, Sketchbook to decorate the cover.

This daybook has 2 sticker sheets sewn in as pages, so I removed a heart to add to the cover.

Then I added elements to the inside.

Although I could have completed the book in one sitting, I decided it would be more fun to have it evolve over a period of time. Anything can go into the book - magazine clippings, business cards, ticket stubs and postcards. To be able to collect memories and have a happy place to store them when creativity strikes - that alone is a reason to smile.

Just LOVE your mini books. Awesome post. My pics are not great, but I posted the goods album I finished, and ordered all of the rest of the line. Can't wait to get my hands on it! I received so many compliments on how fun it is. That is what memory keeping should be, effortless and FUN!
