Week In The Life 2012 | Sunday Words + Photos
NUMBER OF PHOTOS FOR SUNDAY | Around 50
We've come to the end of another round of Week In The Life.
I'll admit I've felt more motivated in the past to undertake this project. But, but, but...as I round out this week I've got a really good feeling in my heart. A feeling that I needed. A feeling that I didn't really expect or don't remember experiencing to this degree in the past years I've done this project. A lot of my life right now is about creating new pathways. The act of taking on this project at this time has created new pathways and encouraged me to take a look at the choices I'm making and the choices I want to make. It makes me more aware of the possibilities and that I don't have to continue doing things the same as they've been done in the past.
I'll be taking the next few days to get my photos and words into my templates and hope to share them later this week.
Here's a look at some of my Sunday photos:

I love how integrated into your life your scrapbooking is - how it lets you look at the past, but how you use it to look forward as well. Always inspiring and the reason your blog is at the top my favorites list. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you - I love it for those reasons as well.

Ali- I'm so glad you continued with WITL this year. I've had so much fun documenting my week. I've ordered all my prints last night (that took awhile!) and I can't wait to put it all together. I hope you continue with WITL- I know I'm already looking forward to next year!!

Thank you again for sharing your life in photos and words. Thank you for admitting that things sometimes aren't as exciting as you might like when it comes to doing something like WITL. It was great to read about your insight into choices. I am at a place like that now. I have realized that I'm too caught up in little things and things I have been doing just because. I'm trying to consider my choices and whether they are just habitual or really mean something to my life. My word this year is FOCUS and I'm really trying to do that. I didn't take many pictures this past week. I basically make my Project Life week one of WITL too by adding in an insert with pictures just of everyday life, some of the thigns we take for granted.

This was my first time trying out WITL. I am so geeked by the whole thing now that it's over. I said on Monday that my life is so mundane and boring, but going through my photos and notes last night made me realize that it's quite lovely in all its repetative pattern. So, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to stop and notice that!
Also, I just wanted to comment on the impression your photos have had on me! Your house seem like such a warm and soothing place - not the physical aspect, but the atmoshere. And you seem to be very grounded in who you are. I know, from reading your blog that with all things that have happened lately this might not always be the case in real life. I just wanted to tell you that reading your blogposts this week have left me feeling good and serene almost. :)

Off the beaten path a bit... is your newsletter the same thing as 52 Creative Lifts? Or are they two different things? Thanks!
Same thing :)

Lovely! Thanks so much for sharing. Your home "feels" so peaceful. Just curious - what's the book you're reading? Seems to be about artisan baking. How fun"

I love that Annna always seems to be in costume. Simon was usually in costume at that age too, right? I remember a lot of Tigger!

Wonderful pictures, Ali. I found a "semi-solution" to getting my boys (15-1/2 & 19-1/2) let me take their pictures...I use my iPhone. I was very surprised that they were okay with that - I'm guessing it's less intimidating than pointing my DSLR at them. You might give it a try, if you haven't already!

Anna's princess dress is sure getting a lot of mileage! Also, I still use California Baby shampoo/bodywash on my 6yo. Have a happy week.

I think we should all wear our princess dress or super woman outfit out in public. That would be great!
Congrats on seeing things with new eyes and making new pathways!

The picture of your daughter playing ball in her princess dress is worth the entire week of taking photos! What a hoot! And so like girls of a certain age. Thanks for letting us share your week.
