Reason #163 Why I Take Lots Of Photos
REASON #163 WHY I TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS | Because most of the time school pictures don't tell the whole story.
This made my morning! I'm sure Anna will fully be able to appreciate in 10-15 all the photos you did take of her at this age once she looks back on this one!
Amen! I "saw the light" when my MIL removed the school portrait from the frame I gave her and replaced it with a photo I took of my child. Funny that I had to hear her say that my photos were better / captured the essence before I started to believe it myself.
she looks so shy :) I'd still purchase it though.
My eldest son's school photos though... I had to have retakes taken, AND he still gives the school photographer a fake, one side of the lip turned up half smile. It looks so forced! Even on the retakes he does the same 'cheese smile'. I skipped two years worth of school pictures, because he is the most photogenic kid when I take them off-guard and he's not posing for me.
I buy my son's school pictures every time, but I really don't understand how this company stays in business. Their work is not good. I have complained to the school and to the company, but it hasn't done any good. As guess taking (and paying) for bad school photos is just part of life.
It is a precious picture. My junior in High School has something go wrong with almost every school picture but they still get scrapped in one way or another. There is definitely a story in there somewhere that is begging to be scapped. :)
I agree. If I were 3 and some strange person came into school to take my picture, I would probably look the same way. We just got our school pictures back this week as well. One shot my daughter is not even looking at the camera. She smiles much better when I am behind the camera.
