ABOUT SIMON SAYS STAMP | Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

Love how you've used the stamp. Love how you tell a story. A moment captured. You constantly remind and inspire me to record my own. Thankyou.

Awesome layout. I love using my different stamps to make my background paper from plain cardstock. They are "1 of a kind".

I loved your layout and the way you created a background with your stamps. The journaling and the photo you chose to represent the story was so inspiring too. I've been trying to incorporate more of the everyday struggles of our life into my PL album, so I love to see examples of this. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself in this blog, Ali. I return here daily and I am always amazed at how inspired and open and creative I feel after a visit to AE.com and I know that it's because you are so honest and easy to relate to and you share such great references. xo Thank you for the chance to win another great giveaway!!

Felt your layout go straight to my heart, it's a special one. Let Simon know he is not alone -- LOTS of kids have the same ups and downs when school starts (and even on and off during the year around here) -- and that's ok because it means you have lots of victories when you keep going! Simon, lots of love and lots of good things are coming your way in 5th grade! Hang in there!

Love your layout, but reading the journaling, my heart just goes out to Simon. Disappointments in life are hard for anyone, but I'm glad he has a mom who knows and loves him enough to help him through his bad days. Your kids are precious. The layout is very inspiring, but the story there is what really struck a chord in my heart. Thank you for continuing to create and share with us, Ali.

That is such a wonderful story to capture! (I especially like the part about George - it makes him being in the picture even better.)

Your use of stamps to create the background is so awesome. I often get so caught in the "must place the stamps in just the right way" that I don't try...but this inspires me to try, anyways. =)

For the tough days, we like this book: http://www.amazon.com/Alexander-Terrible-Horrible-Good-Very/dp/0689711735
Sometimes, we don't even have to read it. I'll just say "even in Australia..." and my boys crack a smile.
Good luck with easing back in!
