Project Life 2012 | Week Thirty-Eight

Welcome to Project Life 2012 | Week Thirty-Eight.

Bits and pieces of our lives - that's what this is all about.

And filling up the pockets.

So love those Basic Grey White 6X12 Micro Monogram Stickers.

The gold star washi tape came from Freckled Fawn (can't seem to find a link to that particular one).

You could always just put in the filler cards. the designs are really nice. I'm new to project life and I had a similar struggle. Also, I cut out the boxes of food I ate that week or receipts. Good luck!!! You can do it. ; )

Loved that you had a card that listed out what you had for dinner. What a great "filler" idea! Thanks always for your inspiration!

    Hi Ali,

I really enjoyed your podcast yesterday. Great advice about sharing and memory keeping about "yourself". Quick question: Do you use your iphone and upload pics to a computer then order? Or do you always print at home?? I'm struggling with this aspect of project life. I used kodakgallery and they have closed. ; ( Now my "system" is all messed up. Any advice from your blog followers??

Hi! I use my iphone, upload them to my computer (actually they are automatically uploaded via "Photo Stream" on my Mac so when I get to my computer the images are already in Aperture) and then crop (to 4x6 at 300 dpi in Photoshop) & print with the Epson Picturemate Show printer. I pretty much exclusively print at home.

Yes, you have the best smile these days:)
What I most admire about your PL today is your restraint in not selecting too many photo's eg. of all the photo's you posted about your week-end only a few went into PL. (And it looks great). I'm really struggling with leaving out photo's and end up with insert after insert.

LOVE YOUR PL AS ALWAYS!! Question about the tiny attacher, do you know if the staples will rust over time? I was wanting to get one but I'm scared that over time the staples will rust and will transfer that rust to the paper or pics.

@Monica L. - Rust will only happen in the presence of moisture, so I would guess it would only be a problem in possibly extremely humid climates or (gasp!) if the scrapbook got wet.... and in that case, it's probably the least of your worries. I love the TA as much as Ali and use it often to attach embellishments!

Thanks for your reply. I'm from Panama but now living in the US. I guess I need to get used to the fact that in California is not as humid as my little country, so I'll get my TA!

That's such a great idea to record what you ate for dinner for the week! I think I need to do this every so often! I can't wait to get Elise's new design when it comes out at the end of the year, and I love all your ideas for what to put in there though, so inspiring!

Always love seeing your project week Ali! Thanks for sharing! Also, I saw your tweet about how far would you walk in Hunter boots? I just purchased my first pair and I spent the entire day in them yesterday. They are so incredibly comfortable! No sore feet for this girl!

When running out of ideas how to fill the pockets, I use a photo of a plant in bloom or signs of autumn, right now. A harvest display, a photo of the Starbucks black boards advertising Pumpkin Spice Latte, a wheat bundle, a fall candle. Just to add a little perspective and reflect the season.
