Project Life 2012 | Week Thirty-Seven + Designer Digitals Quarterly Sale

Welcome to Project Life 2012 | Week Thirty-Seven.

Designer Digitals Quarterly Sale begins today. All products are 30% off now through Thursday, September 27th at 6am EST (new releases will be 20% off).

Here's a few links to digital sets of Technique Tuesday stamps I used this week:

The digital version of the So Totally Happy stamps is available here.

The digital version of Life Circles stamps is available here.

The digital version of Leaves Are Lovely stamps is available here.

Look for a post coming up next week where I share the digital products I find myself using most in Project Life.

I posted on Facebook the other day that I took barely enough photos last week.

I wasn't complaining, just commenting on my situation as I started to work on my week. It ended up I had enough and I remembered once again that there are so many stories to be told. A few of the photos are from the same day - something I'm totally fine with. I have no issues not having one photo from each day (totally not how I'm approaching this project).

Here's a closer look:

To create the tag on the top right photo I paired a stamp from my Leaves Are Lovely set with a piece of cream cardstock and rounded one set of edges.

Some of you might remember that great 7gypsies pattern that created the Life series of paper.

It's now available as a wood stamp: 7gypsies Distressed Words Wood Stamp

Oh yes. I used it on the second journal card as the background. From my stash of patten paper pieces I found one where I'd hand-written a couple words using a crayon. I cropped that down to 3x4, stamped the word stamp, and then added a little tag reflecting on the concept of routine.

Here's a look at the right side:

Sunday journal card is from the Daily Note Tags set from Elle's Studio. Those great letter stickers are new ones from Jenni Bowlin.

I stashed a cute little necklace Anna made at school inside a pocket and stitched right along the top to keep it in place.

I created a fun journal card by combining a piece of American Crafts Surrounded Kraft Pattern Paper (LOVE) + So Totally Happy Stamps + stitching + Project Life grid card.

That paper is probably my current favorite available paper. Love it.

Wow, lots of good stuff this week. LOVE that you stitched in Anna's little necklace. :) I think I still have some of that 7Gypsies paper leftover in a paper pad. That stamp is incredible!

The class (a scrapbook on the road project) might become a class but the kit won't be available.

A bit behind on my PL but it's nice to be inspired. I have more than one Montessori made necklaces from my daughter that have made their way into our PL binder :) I'm glad they're there as they don't come home this year. Wonder what treasures though she'll bring home from kindergarten!?

Stitching to keep the necklace in=fabulous.

And, oh my...that Ireland trip...if I could afford it, and wouldn't have serious mommy-guilt for leaving, and could overcome never having flown in a plane...I would so be there! ;)

I'm loving that paper too right now! Love how you used it to make the journaling card. Love how you used the background stamp and of course adding the necklace. It just rocks. Thanks for being such an inspiration! Now I need to stop looking and get to working! :)

This is a question for anyone who uses the PictureMate printer.... does it print only 4x6 or does it do smaller ones? Has it made your PL easier? I haven't started PL, and am about 6 years behind in all scrapbooking! so I need help! Thank You!

Hi Bethany - it does have some templates/ways of printing different sizes photos (but I think you'd print all the same photo at a smaller size vs. printing 2 different photos) but I usually do that in Photoshop vs. through the printer. I love it - great little printer.
