AE Travel Lens | Ireland 2012, Part One

Hello from Dublin, Ireland!

I’m traveling this week with Scrapmap and a wonderful group of like-minded memory keepers and photographers. We’ve spent the last couple days in Dublin and are getting ready to move on to other parts of this glorious country tomorrow.

Here’s a few photos from our adventure:

We spent today in Dublin, visiting the Guinness Storehouse and Trinity College (to see the Book Of Kells) among other adventures.

As you can imagine with our group there’s a lot of this:

Taking photos of stuff like this:

One of my favorite things so far was visiting The Mill at Avoca Village, Wicklow. Seriously, just take a look at these colors. We got to visit the working handweaving mill where they make their beautiful blankets, scarves, hats, etc, The colors are just so awesome. Loved learning about the process and seeing the looms in action.

They have an online shop if you want to check them out. Definitely bringing a few blankets home with me.

Welcome to Dublin and to Ireland! I knew that you would just LOVE Glendalough and Avoca and of course Guinness! At least it hasn’t lashed rain yet and totally ruined your trip. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the country and on Dublin when you get back and start to really blog. Enjoy the rest of your trip here and safe travels back home to you and all the group!

Wonderful to know you were in Ireland :) Your group probably doubled the number of scrapbookers in the county! Lol :) People here sadly have rarely heard of scrapbooking, it’s Very niche!

Hey! I know this is somewhat off topic but I
was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues wikth hackers
and I’m looking at options for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me iin the direction of a good
    platform.
