October 2, 2012

Hello October

A big welcome to October.

For me this month is going to be about three things: travel, December Daily foundation pages, and Halloween.

Welcome Blog Sponsors

A warm welcome (and welcome back) to three new sponsors this month – check them out!

One Little Word

A new prompt is available in the One Little Word classroom. I will be running One Little Word again in 2013 with updated prompts and content (may keep one or two of the current ones). More information and registration will be available later this month.

Big Picture Boot Camp

Join the upcoming 2013 Big Picture Classes 4Experts for 12 days of supremely doable daily drills that will get you in the mood to create! Class runs October 15th through October 27th. There’s still time to sign up. Use this link to get 10% off the registration fee.

December Daily Album Kits from Studio Calico

Just a few December Daily album kits are remaining over at Studio Calico. Once they are gone, they are gone for this year. I’ll be sharing my foundation pages later this month.

December Daily Sponsorship/Advertising Spots Available

Looking for a way to promote your business or product in December to a large group of very dedicated memory keepers? I’m currently taking reservations for December Daily sponsorship spots – both daily in-post and giveaway sponsorships are available. Email me for more information.

Happy October!

Ali, your new sponsors are “da bomb!” Thanks for letting us know about them!
I am happy to hear you’ll be doing some Christmas Daily stuff — so will I! Without kids, and with a husband who is not thrilled with the season, last year’s was a little lame — well, it was very me — pictures of the National Christmas tree next to pictures of the Christmas tree at the Occupy camp! This year I plan to start (yes, I said start) my Project Life with a December Daily theme and see what happens — I do plan to set up pages and stuff ahead of time — lovin’ me some chic tags for this!
Also, your last post about Simon. I showed it to my husband (fifth grade teacher) and my son (PhD in Neuroscience for Education, lots of research on learning and “the spectrum,”) let me know if you are interested in their thoughts and I’ll pm you.
    Finally, Happy October!

A great post! I’ve been sitting on the fence now for a while regarding the December Daily. I have always wanted to do it, but never thought I’d be able to keep up. But this year I’ve decided I’m going to take the challenge and do it! It’s my baby boy’s first Christmas and December Daily would be a great way to document it. December daily is for sure a tradition I want to start for my family. Thanks Ali. You rock!

Your reason is the same as mine for why I decided to tackle December Daily this year! I have a new baby girl, plus my 3yo is probably old enough now to anticipate and enjoy Christmas even more than last year (which was pretty great too). So I ordered the kit and can’t wait to get started setting it up!

Will the Studio Calico kit be what you will be using this year? Will your album be 4×6?

Hi Kitsa – yes, I’m using that kit (and size) as my base. Wanted something smaller this time around.

I am so excited about Project Life 2013! I just ordered my album and core kit today, before the rush! 2012 is my first year of doing PL and it has been so much fun. We have documented our travels and our travails (we remodeled our kitchen) and we have all of that to view over and over again…

I get so many ideas from your PL pages: thank you so much for sharing them!

Great give away!

Hi Ali, thanks for the giveaway. I only just received my 2012 album inserts and so felt really funny about not documenting this year.
Have been doing a digi album and it is fun too
can’t wait to get back to the real stuff next year.
