December Daily™ 2012 | Day Nine

Lovely Sunday.

The tree is up (still needs ornaments) and I got some piled up work done yesterday and had time to hang out with a friend before the kids came home in the early eveing. All good stuff.

Here's a look at my spread:

Today I included a 4x6 journal card + a divided page protector that I cut to size and punched holes using a crop-a-dile.

I stamped & embossed the "have yourself a merry little christmas" from the Jingle All The Way set with black Zing glitter. You can also grab the digital version of that stamp set here: Holiday Word Art Vol. 03.

When I cut down the divided page protector I ended up with a couple different pockets (I used one of the page protectors from the album as my original size guide). I stuck some of those wood veneer stars inside a pocket (and stitched it closed). The "love" glitter letter stickers are from American Crafts.

On top of the Christmas tree photo I added a new outline banner that will be available at Designer Digitals this weekend. You can find the filled version of that banner here: Merry Banners.

Along the top I had a little bit of space so I added a strip of herringbone Hambly overlay. After I slip in a photo on the other side for today I'll likely stitch it all in place.

I need to get my hands on some of those stars! The more I see them, the more I want them! Your tree looks great so far as well! I'm loving the journalling cards too... I've been using them daily in my album and they're awesome!

Hi Ali, love your work! I'm wondering what kind of a printer you have at home? Is it just for printing regular size photot's or can you print 12 x 12? I've been thinking of purchasing one for 12 x 12 any suggestions?

Hi Jennifer - I have two printers here that I use for photos (love both of them). One is an over-sized printer (up to 13x19) - an Epson R2000. The other is a small 4x6 printer - an Epson Picturemate Show. Both great printers.

At one time I planned to do December Daily and PL at the same time. I do so much everyday that is a celebration (to me) that I don't know how to divide up the photos and stories. Are you doing PL also?

    Hello Ali,

I love the things you make. I just have a question. I have some pages that are precut in 5,31 x 7.87 inch. How do I convert the text from that day in this format. I have the 4 x 6 and the 12 x 12's. I only seem to be able to print them on letter paper and I just want to cut one thats already in the 4 x 6 size or the 5.31 x 7.87 Thanks for the help.
