December Daily™ 2012 | Day Twenty

Christmas cards. Love.

Lots of emotions around here as we get closer to the holidays. Doing things a bit differently than in the past and I'm riding the waves of love and longing and embracing the goodness of family and friends. Working on staying focused on the beauty of the season and my own personal intentions for how I want to experience the wonder of Christmas.

I believe.

Our Christmas card this year came from Minted (same company I used last year). Love their quality. This one is actually around 5x7 so I did cut it down to fit into the 4x6 pocket.

They offer other cool stuff in addition to cards - love checking out their art prints too.

The circles above on the jouranling card were made using the circle stamps from the December Daily™ stamp set + Zing embossing in red, silver and platinum.

This is one of my absolute favorite photos from this past year. I love these two so very much and can't wait to experience Christmas with them again on Tuesday.

Here's a link of all my days so far for 2012:

TODAY'S POST IS SPONSORED BY | MOO

MOO was born out of a love of beautiful, high-quality print. Printing has been around for centuries, and we're certainly not the first printer on the web. But, whilst many other printers have chosen to use new technologies to simply reduce the costs of printing (and often the quality), we strive to make print not only cost-effective but better than ever before. We want to set a new standard for print, with remarkable new products that bring great design and uncompromising, high standards to the web. We're only young, but when we grow up we want to be the best printer on the internet.

I don't comment here that often because I would just keep writing the same thing; "This is beautiful." I just love ll your work. There's always something a little new, and always pretty. I love it all.

Oh how I love your Christmas card! It makes me wonder if I could do a mini-album that illustrated the biblical passage of the beatitudes. Hmmm,I'll have to chew on that thought. Your dailies are such an inspiration to me as I work on my first Project Life album.

Love your card, the kids are beautiful. I can so relate to your journaling...the year of the emotional roller coaster hit us both...but we didn't leave the park - we're still riding, hands in the air, hair in the wind...sometimes we get motion sick, but we recover and recall the fun parts of this wild ride called life. Love your honesty - it lifts us all and reminds us things sure don't have to be even close to perfect to be joyful.

Absolutely Ali, stay focussed on these beautiful kids and the joy of sharing Christmas with them. Christmas with them at this exact age only happens once. Glad you're savouring it amidst everything. Wishing you lots of joyful moments.

Hi Ali!! I LOVE your card, but I have a question....when I went to the web site it seems that the card is 5 (horizontally) and 7 vertically....how did you make it fit in the 4x6 protector if the 6 is the (horizontal)??? My card that I sent out this year is 5x7 as well, but it will be an inch short on the sides for my 6 inch protector. THANKS!!! I just wonder is all, how you did it. APPRECIATE YOUR TIME!!!

This card is 7 horizontally and 5 vertically. You can choose when you order the card to make it either vertical or horizontal.
